conference.

Unfortunately, I could not attend the conference. I joined a new startup on

October 1. As there were a lot of pressing issues at work, I had to decide

to skip the conference. In the last one month, I was away from home for 3

weeks on business trips to San Jose and Atlanta. I did not check the list

much then.

Parasara taught that you take the 9th house and the houses aspected by it,

then the 10th house and the houses aspected by it, and then the 11th house

and the houses aspected by it. This covers all the 12 signs if lagna is in a

movable sign or a fixed sign. If the lagna is in a dual sign, there will be

repititions of some signs and some signs will be missed. Thus, there is a

missing link here. Clearly, an extension to Parasara's teachings is needed.

Though this is not granted by Parasara or Jaimini, what I was taught was to

take the 9th, 8th and 7th houses instead of 9th, 10th and 11th houses for

dual sign lagnas. Then all the twelve signs will be covered. Remember that

this is not granted by maharshis, but an intelligent extension by somebody

somewhere down the line.

May Jupiter's light shine on us,

Narasimha
