Guest guest
Dear Lucas, hello everybody, On November 27th (mail 19757), you wrote about your friend's wife who has an advanced breast cancer. Her DOB: 23 Oct 1961, 3:45 (2:45 GMT) in Arras (France) 2E47, 50N17. Although my proficiency in Vedic astrology is still very slight, I will try to give an answer to your query. The moon, the natural significator of breasts, is in 8th of grave sickness, aspected by functional malefic Venus from 2nd and by functional malefic Saturn, lord of 7th (the 2 maraka houses). There is in fact a danger of death. However, a debilitated planet located in a dusthana creates a favorable raja yoga. In this chart, 2 planets are in this situation. - The Sun is debilitated in the 3rd. The Sun represents health as the natural significator and as the lord of the 1st house. The significator is bad for the house, and in fact her health is not good. Still, the Sun is a functional benefic and it is strong in shadbala and fair in ashtakavarga (4 bindus). - Jupiter is debilitated in the 6th. Jupiter is lord of 8th and is argala for the 8th. He is a functional benefic, weak in shadbala but very strong in ashtakavarga (7 bindus). These two planets may help this lady. Moreover, Saturn is in his own house in 6th, and argala for the 8th. A natural malefic in this position helps to overcome one's enemies. The Vimsottari dasa Moon/Rahu does show the illness: the Moon is in the 6th from the Sun and Rahu is in the 6th from the Moon. However, the next antardasa, of Jupiter, will benefit her, as functional benefic Jupiter is in the 11th from the Moon (4/30/2003 to 8/29/.2004). As far as transits are concerned, Jupiter (AV 6) is in Cancer (AV 30), Saturn (AV 4) is in Gemini (AV 31) and Rahu, who is AK, is in Taurus (AV 33). These seem good. In view of the above, I think there is a good hope that she will, in time, get well. I concentrated on the rasi chart, as this is a physical matter. A product called in French Taxotere which was formerly used for other types of cancer has been found to give good results with breast cancer. It will be put to use in a few month's time. Hoping for some comments. With friendly regards, Martine de Karoly
