Guest guest
Dear Group, Here is an invitation for a serious and different Vedic astrology experience. 'Vjyotish' is a dynamic model for predictions, based on Vedic Astrology principles. The innovative is the 'concept' and 'method' of drawing a net astrological conclusion in precise numerical terms, called as 'net astrological effect', by mathematically quantifying various key astrological parameters. The method is unique in that it quantifies the benefic and malefic influences of each planet in precise unambiguous figures. It is also unique in that it combines the effects of different planets and houses and can integrate the effects of various planets with respect to each other. The program integrates natal promises of various planets in a horoscope with their transit status in a very simple and elegant manner. Eminent astrology scholars, like Dr.K.S.Charak, Prof.P.S.Sastri, Mr.Vinay Aditya, Dr.Amitabh Varma; after going through the calculation algorithm of 'Vjyotish indexes', opined that it is indeed a pioneering concept in the history of computer astrology that has ever been visualized for analyzing 'each day' of a person in such detail. Please visit the following url to read their opinions: http://www.howisyourdaytoday.com/Testimon.htm The innovation is in the 'way', in which several established Vedic astrology principles are simultaneously integrated to gauge the exact benefic and malefic effects of each planet in natal horoscope as well as in their daily transit. The program can analyze a day with reference to each house of a person's horoscope individually. You may download a full working Vjyotish from my site. You will be able to use and evaluate all the features of this software. However the results will be for a sample person until you obtain your personal data files. The download size of installation file is about 1.95 MB. The program can be downloaded from the following url: http://www.howisyourdaytoday.com/DwnlodVJ.htm To know more about Vjyotish, please visit the following page: http://www.howisyourdaytoday.com/WhatIsVJ.htm I humbly request opinion and suggestions from the astrology scholars, like you, in a constant effort of upgrading my program. Best regards, Shyaam Sunder Kansal (System developer of Vjyotish) http://www.howisyourdaytoday.com
Guest guest
Hi I would be more interested in this if you published more data files for known personalities. The sample chart supplied is that of Lady Diana, for 2001-2002. This is pretty much useless for evaluation. Guest guest
Hi The software is totally useless. It does not have menus and other useful things. It made me feel like I am using a software from 90's. It is just a total waste of time. Your web site look good not the software. Guest guest
Dear Nimmi Thanks for a very good suggestion. I'll certainly add some more charts. Lady Diana's chart has been analyzed through Vjyotish (for the date of her accident in Paris) in much details. Guest guest
Dear Murali Thank you very much for showing interest in evaluating "Vjyotish". I am interested in knowing what "Menus" and "Other useful things" you are referring to. Yes, it is true that my software does not have a very pretty interface. But I thought that you would be evaluating the concept not the software interface. Best regards Shyaam Sunder Kansal vedic astrology, "Murali" <muralir> wrote: > Hi > The software is totally useless. Guest guest
Dear Shyam, I had a look at that. It was interesting, but not, to my mind, conclusive. You would need the indices for a few periods to ensure that the same pattern did not previously occur without any such traumatic incident. Why dont you put out demo-ware on a website so that people can calculate the indices for any chart, but only for past dates, not future dates. This will allow them to test their own and known charts to check past predictive values. I dont think you will get many paying to test your software with past data. If usage gets very high, you may want to control the access by limiting the number of calculations you support per user id. This may or may not happen. But I think you want more testing not less, as the number of successful tests will drive your sales. Also, this way, any results will be obtained by an independent test - you will not know the details of the incidents. Sales as a result of such a test will probably be of a long term nature, and result in regular subscriptions, and good word of mouth sales. Guest guest
Dear Nimmi I have just made a provision to test an event of one's life through Vjyotish, free of cost, on your suggestion. My experience shows that Vjyotish index values suddenly drops when a negative event is in the offing. I have tested it hundreds of times myself. Though one thing has also been noticed that negative results are more visible than the positive results in one's life. It may be due to the reason that we do not feel average quantum of positive results easily while negativity is felt immediately. That's why I ask to test a "very negative event" of your life. Any person can test himself/herself by downloading "Vjyotish" from the following location: http://www.howisyourdaytoday.com/DwnlodVJ.htm After downloading the program, visit following page to submit me the birth-details and specify the 3 month period (from any year) during which a particular negative event has occurred (without telling the exact date of event): http://www.howisyourdaytoday.com/othrserv/trialvj.htm For example, if a serious mis-happening occurred on 12th July 1980, you may ask to test Vjyotish from 25th June 1980 to 24th Sept. 1980. I'll send the pre-processed Vjyotish data files for the required period of past 3 months and the person concerned can himself/herself check whether Vjyotish data values had a sudden drop on exact date of event (+ or - one day error is permissible). Most probably, the Vjyotish values will be highly negative. Even if the values were in positive zone on that date, it would be lowest on that date, having higher positive values on other surrounding dates. In any case, a clear bottom in index should be visible. I have not come across any other software till date with similar capabilities. I may be ignorant if there exists one. I shall be really grateful to the person who can provide me the information about any such astrology software with date pin-pointing capabilities. Guest guest
Dear Shyam, Excellent idea. I will post a chart with an event that I have not discussed on the list before so that is a completely blind test. It will take me some time to get this, so bear with me. Ideally it should be a date that I do not know exactly either. However, I would also suggest that you increase the size of the window to about 5-6 months, so that the big dip is obvious. But if you think the pattern should show up clearly in a 3 month period, that is OK by me. Guest guest
Shyam, I am trying to find good charts where the ascendant is not on the border between two signs, where the time of birth is accurate, and there are traumatic events with a known date. Too many of the test cases I have are borderline ascendants, the time of birth is uncertain, or the person has a bad memory! I will publish the results to the list. Best wishes, Nimmi Ragavan - "Shyaam Sunder Kansal" <shyaamkansal <vedic astrology> Wednesday, December 04, 2002 12:40 PM [vedic astrology] Re: Invitation for a serious and different Vedic astrology experience > > Dear Nimmi > > I have just made a provision to test an event of one's > life through Vjyotish, free of cost, on your suggestion. > My experience shows that Vjyotish index values suddenly > drops when a negative event is in the offing. Your information is now publicly available and no longer suitable for a test. Guest guest
Dear Mr. Kansal, I have downloaded your software and also filled in my details alongwith a test event. Look forward to hearing from you. Regards Ramesh - Shyaam Sunder Kansal vedic astrology Wednesday, December 04, 2002 4:40 PM [vedic astrology] Re: Invitation for a serious and different Vedic astrology experience Dear NimmiI have just made a provision to test an event of one's life through Vjyotish, free of cost, on your suggestion. Any person can test himself/herself by downloading "Vjyotish" from the following location:http://www.howisyourdaytoday.com/DwnlodVJ.htmAfter downloading the program, visit following page to submit me the birth-details and specify the 3 month period(from any year) during which a particular negative event has occurred (without telling the exact date of event):http://www.howisyourdaytoday.com/othrserv/trialvj.htmFor example, if a serious mis-happening occurred on 12th July 1980, you may ask to test Vjyotish from 25th June 1980 to 24th Sept. 1980.I'll send the pre-processed Vjyotish data files for the required period of past 3 months and the person concerned can himself/herself check whether Vjyotish data values had a sudden drop on exact date of event (+ or - one day error is permissible). Most probably, the Vjyotish values will be highly negative. Even if the values were in positive zone on that date, it would be lowest on that date, having higher positive values on other surrounding dates. In any case, a clear bottom in index should be visible.I have not come across any other software till date with similar capabilities. I may be ignorant if there exists one. I shall be really grateful to the person who can provide me the information about any such astrology software with date pin-pointing capabilities. Many thanks and regardsShyaam Sunder Kansal(shyaamkansal @ )vedic astrology, "Nimmi Ragavan" <106350.3660@c...> wrote:> Dear Shyam,> > I had a look at that.
