Guest guest
OM Dear Sarajitji, I cast the chart with the details given by Kumar and I think there is an error either on my part or in the chart you have cast. I get Rahu as the AK (instead of Venus), Venus is not vargottama and Current dasa as Moon-Sat. Details of the chart are as below: Date of Birth: February 20, 1972 Time of Birth: 3:00:00 am Time Zone of Birth: 5:30 East of GMT Longitude of Birth: 80 E 35 Latitude of Birth: 16 N 15 Lunar month (maasa): Phalguna Lunar day (tithi): Sukla Shashthi Tithi balance: 0.5112 Nakshatra balance: 0.0449 Sun-Moon Yoga: Sukla Sun-Moon Karana: Kaulava Vara (weekday): Saturday Sunrise = 6:32 am (Apparent rise - upper limb) Ayanamsa = 23-28-19 Dasa year length chosen = 365.2425 days Planet Position Pada CharaK Ascdt 10 Sg 54 Moola 4 - Sun 6 Aq 52 Satabhisham 1 GK Moon 12 Ar 44 Aswini 4 BK Mars 12 Ar 40 Aswini 4 MK Mercury 9 Aq 01 Satabhisham 1 PiK Jupiter 8 Sg 51 Moola 3 PK Venus 17 Pi 44 Revathi 1 AmK Saturn 6 Ta 27 Krittika 3 DK Rahu 10 Cp 30 Sravanam 1 AK Ketu 10 Cn 30 Pushyami 3 - BhavaLg 12 Sg 49 Moola 4 - HoraLg 19 Li 39 Swathi 4 - GhatiLg 10 Ta 06 Rohini 1 - Dhooma 20 Ge 12 Punarvasu 1 - Vyati 9 Cp 47 U.Shaa. 4 - Pari 9 Cn 47 Pushyami 2 - I.Chapa 20 Sg 12 Poo.Shaa. 3 - Upaketu 6 Cp 52 U.Shaa. 4 - Kaala 6 Sg 27 Moola 2 - Mrityu 22 Cp 53 Sravanam 4 - ArthaPr 18 Le 21 Poo.Pha. 2 - YamaGha 10 Vi 45 Hastha 1 - Mandi 13 Li 53 Swathi 3 - Gulika 24 Li 35 Visakha 2 - +----------------------+ | | | | | | | Mar | Sat | | | Ven | | | | | | Moo | GL | | | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | | | | Sun | | | | | | Ket | | Mer | | | | | | | |-------------| R A S I |-------------| | | | | | | | | | Rah | | | | | | | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | Jup | | Mnd | | | | | | | | Asc | | HL | | | | | | | | BL | | Glk | | +----------------------+ +----------------------+ | | | | | | | GL | | | | HL | | Glk | Jup | | | Rah | | | | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | | | | Sat | | Mar Moo | | | | | | Mnd | | Asc BL | | | | | |-------------| N A V A M S A |-------------| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | Sun | | | | | | | | | | Mer | | Ket | | | | | | | | Ven | | | | +----------------------+ Vimsottari Dasa: Ketu 1972-02-20 Venu 1972-06-13 Sun 1975-10-14 Moon 1976-10-13 Mars 1978-06-14 Rahu 1979-08-14 Jupi 1982-08-14 Satu 1985-04-14 Merc 1988-06-13 Ketu 1991-04-14 Sun 1992-06-13 Moon 1992-10-01 Mars 1993-04-01 Rahu 1993-08-07 Jupi 1994-07-02 Satu 1995-04-20 Merc 1996-04-01 Ketu 1997-02-05 Venu 1997-06-13 Moon 1998-06-14 Mars 1999-04-14 Rahu 1999-11-13 Jupi 2001-05-14 Satu 2002-09-13 Merc 2004-04-13 Ketu 2005-09-13 Venu 2006-04-14 Sun 2007-12-13 Mars 2008-06-13 Rahu 2008-11-09 Jupi 2009-11-28 Satu 2010-11-04 Merc 2011-12-13 Ketu 2012-12-10 Venu 2013-05-08 Sun 2014-07-08 Moon 2014-11-13 Rahu 2015-06-14 Jupi 2018-02-24 Satu 2020-07-19 Merc 2023-05-26 Ketu 2025-12-13 Venu 2026-12-31 Sun 2029-12-31 Moon 2030-11-25 Mars 2032-05-26 Jupi 2033-06-13 Satu 2035-08-01 Merc 2038-02-12 Ketu 2040-05-19 Venu 2041-04-25 Sun 2043-12-25 Moon 2044-10-12 Mars 2046-02-11 Rahu 2047-01-18 Satu 2049-06-13 Merc 2052-06-16 Ketu 2055-02-24 Venu 2056-04-04 Sun 2059-06-04 Moon 2060-05-16 Mars 2061-12-15 Rahu 2063-01-24 Jupi 2065-11-30 Merc 2068-06-13 Ketu 2070-11-09 Venu 2071-11-06 Sun 2074-09-06 Moon 2075-07-14 Mars 2076-12-12 Rahu 2077-12-09 Jupi 2080-06-28 Satu 2082-10-04 Regards, Ashwin. vedic astrology, "Sarajit Poddar" <sarajit_poddar@h...> wrote: > > Aum Namah Sivaya > Dear Kumar, > > There are a few things out here which I would like to highlight. > > 1. Guest guest
Dear Kumar, For determining AtmaKaraka find the advancement of the planet from the beginning of the sign, exception is for Rahu where we measure the advancement from the end of the sign. In this case for Rahu it would be (30-10.5) 19.5 degrees or 19deg:30min making it the highest. Venus at 17deg:44min is second and will be designated the CharaKaraka of AmatyaKaraka. There is controversy as to whether to accept Rahu in the Chara Karaka scheme. Some take the longitude of all retrograde planets from the end of the sign. Rahu is always retrograde ! Even Parasara mentioned two systems (using 7 [without Rahu] or 8 planets scheme for CharaKaraka). Ref BPHS Chapter 32:1-8 Best wishes. Ashwin. Guest guest
Hare Rama Krsna Hello Kumar, What Ashwin is saying is correct. Rahu's longitude is always calculated from the end of sign for the purpose of Atmakaraka. Now Rahu is placed in the 10deg 32min cap, means Rahu's longitude shall be taken as 19deg 28min, which makes it the AK. While mailing my last response I might have looked in some other Navamsa. I will review it and post the relevent portion again.
