Dear friend,

Conditions for Ashtotari:

1)Rahu in quadrant/trine from Lagna lord and

2)Day time birth for Krishan Pakasha or Night time birth for Sukla Pakasha .

3)Only if 1 and 2 applicable then only use Ashtotari dasha.

 

AND Most Important:

 

Vimsottari dasa and its variations(from moon,lagna etc) will always apply.
