Query bout the ISHTA devta..A request to all GURUJI's plz enlight en me

Namaskar,

 

I was going about the mails in the group about the ishta devta finding in

the horoscope. I am attaching and pasting the replies and horoscope of the

native here. Plz go through that.

 

Now when I matched that with the finding method of ISHTA devta from Guru Sh.

Sanjay Rath's Book "Vedic Remedies", I was lost in the above findings and my

findings..

 

The concept is like that

 

1) Find the AtamaKarak in the rasi chart.

2) Find where this AtamaKarak is placed in Navamsa and this is called as

Karakamsa.

3) From the KarakAmsa calculate the 12th house which is used for the ISHTA

devta clarrification.

a) Now if there are more than one planets in 12th house from

karakamsa than depending upon their powers ISHTA devta is concluded.

b) If there is 1 planet in this than its straight, that the devta

for that planet is your ISHTA devta

c) If there are 0 planets in this house than look for the planetry

aspects on this house ( also written that sign aspect should be considered

alone - Now what this mean here, I am not able to get this point here )

Suppose again 1 planet aspect this house than that concludes your ISHTA

devta. If more than one than again depending on there power we conclude

that. Also if no ( 0 planet) is aspecting that than the lord of 12th house

from karakamsa should be considered for calculating his ISHTA devta.

 

I request to all GURUJI's to plz enlighten my thinking in this regard.

If possible plz use the example with no lords in 12th from karakamsa. Also

Regarding the concept of ishta devata, as I said earlier I have been taught

only little. Am sure there is more to it. However this is what I have learnt

till date.

The 12th from karakamsa is the focal point to determine the Istha devata.

There could be 3 situations in this context.

1. The 12th from karakamsa is empty - In this case the lord denotes the

Istha.

2. The 12th from Karakamsa has one planet - In this case the planet in the

12th from karakamsa denotes the Istha

3. The 12th from karakamsa has more than one planet - In this case the

planet that is more advanced in degrees denotes the Istha. Reverse for rahu

ofcourse.

After having said the above, some people may realize their istha through

some other means. The destination or objective of enlightenment is only

one.. though the means to achieve it could be many. In such a case, the

planets having Rasi drishti denote the means. Those planets lead the native

towards god.

Ofcourse the determination of istha should flexible. This is what little I

know. I stand to be corrected.

Namaste Katti Narahari,

At first I thought Shukra ,12th lord from Karakamsha

is in Karakamsha,so Godess Lakshmi is his Ishta

devatha,But then in Karaksmasha ,its lord Kuja is

there indicating Lord Skanda as Kuja becomes stronger

than the 2 there.So he can worship Lord Murugan.But

then I saw Mantra Pada A5 is in Mithuna and is

Vargothama also and Budha who is the lord of A5 can

become his Ishta Devatha and by worshipping Lord

Vishnu ,his life will be prosperous.So if there is any

mistakes,correct me.
