Event-Dasha-Transit.xls has features as given below:

 

(1) You can directly open and save data in .jhd compatible file

format.

You can enter upto 20 events and save them in same .jhd files

without

any difficulty in opening in Jagannath Hora Lite.

Event Sheet also includes some additional events like birth,now

for

current time,TP,yearly (also monthly etc) chart and Trial for

search.

 

(2) You can view Vinshottary Dasha,Rashi-Bhukt-Vinshottary Dasha,

Kakshya-Details in Rashi-Bhukta-Dasha,Tribhagi Dasha and

Longitudes of Progressed Moon(as per Dasha) at start and end of

Dasha.

Nisarg , Mool & Mas Dashas are also included.You have the option

to

change number of days and starting longitude for Dasha.

 

(3) You can even compress the dasha to any desired length.

This will help you to find Varsh Vinshottary Dasha or any such

thing like 5 year Dasha, monthly dasha etc. etc.

Please note that dasha-length * compression =120

Some typical values for compression are given below.

compression=1 Vinshottary dasha

compression=3 Tribhagi dasha

compression=120 Varsh Vinshottary dasha

 

(4) Ashtakvarg for any choosen varg with Prastar ashtakvarg and

shodas-varg.

You can view all at a glance with varg-classification.You can

even see

saumy\Krur and malefic\benefic based on D-60 for all bhav from 9

Grahas

and 3 Lagnas. 4 Jaimini vargas are also included.

 

(5) Narayan Dasha can be calculated for any varg upto Deh(6th) level

It will

automatically use correct lord,exception etc.You can even

override

starting dasha/sequence/progression/Strong rashi or grah.

Sudasha can be calculated for any varg with same Shree-Lagn

(adjustable).

You can see several Rasi dashas like

Char,Drig,Trikon,Paryay,Mandook,

Lagn-Kendradi,Niryan-Shool,Shool and Sudarshan Chakr Dasha in all

vargas.

 

(6) You can set Paramayush/compress and even use 9 years fixed Dasha

length.

Starting Dasha and Direction can be changed for All Dashas and

SubDashas.

Kakshya details for all dashas upto 5 level are

provided.Paramayush=1

will set first cycle dasha length=1 Year.

compress=144 will give dasha-length of 1 year including second

cycle

(dasha-length*compress=144).This is applicable to all rashi

dashas.

You should use only one of them as per your need/choice.

 

(7) It gives grah and bhav tithis for all planets. You can now find

santan

tithi, Santan graha etc without calculations.Calculations for

ishtkal(based on upper limb of Sun),hora and ghati Lagn are

included.

you can change lagn and also view any varg-chart in North Indian

format.

 

(8) It also has a module (sheet) for ephemeris and Panchag

calculations.

You can set time interval from a second to years as you please.

But do not forget to convert it in days. Fractions(=365.25636)

and expressions(=1/24 for hourly interval) are allowed.Panchang

includes

Tithi(lunar date),Var(day),Nakshatr(constellation),Yog and Karan.

Transit prediction by Ashtakvarg requires Knowledge of Kakshya.

You can directly view Kakshya of each planet in ephemeris.

 

(9) Sarvatobhadr chakr shows planets/upgraha/speed/vedh-direction

etc. for

selected event.All 16 Dashas/Bhukties/Pratyantar running at the

time of

selected event are shown.All Dashas are automatically set as per

the

event and you can view upto 6th level.Position of all planets at

the

start of all mahadashas for the event are displayed.You can also

view

position for all events.Progression for 9 planets and 3 lagnas at

the

time of event for all 20 vargas can be seen.

 

(10)You can calculate Exact date/time for any selected Dasha start.

Exact charts for Tajik(any age) and Tithi-Pravesh(monthly) are

calculated on the basis of solar month.To get luni-solar chart

you have to change the age by one month(if required).You can even

use

any event as natal chart to see all dashas and vargas set

accordingly.

This is particularly useful in Tajik/Prashna/Tithi-Pravesh

charts.

for example Event No. 24-Birth, 23-Tithi-Pravesh, 22-Tajik chart

etc.

 

Important Instructions:

 

(1) Ketu is always opposite to Rahu in all vargas.

This is different from other softwares where

D16,D20,D24,D30,D40,D45,D-5,D-6,D-8 AND D2 have them

togather.

If you want them togather put x against calculated ketu

option.

 

(2) Dasha dates are approximate(EXACT FOR GIVEN YEAR LENGTH)

and may be off by upto 5 days (based on Sun's longitude).

Mas dasha calculations can differ by 2-3 days.

Please ALWAYS check Sun's longitude for exact date and time.

Use exact date/time option when accuracy is needed however.

 

(3) For Mas-dasha you must also enter longitude of Ravi in data

sheet.

otherwise leave longitude of Ravi in data sheet blank.

You can also use this option to find entry of Ravi in

Mesh,Tula

etc. This will be useful for mundane charts.If you want to

use it,copy date/time shown manually to some other place

and set

the chart to that event.

 

(4) You must enter order of grah dasha for mool dasha on data

sheet

whenever you change chart/varg/swap event with birth etc.

If you do not use mool dasha,you can ignore this.

 

(5) Change in Lagna longitude will help you in rectification

trials

but original time will remain same.After you are

certain,you can

adjust time(=change*4 approx.) to suit your calculations.

You may also use it for relocation studies by adjusting

longitude(=change approximatly) accordingly.

Relocation is however not part of vedic-

jyotish.

 

(6) Transit search is not included.You can however adjust

starting

date/time and interval for ephemeris to get the

transit.First use

bigger period and then slowly reduce it till you get exact

transit.

 

(7) Prashna/current time will change with system clock.If you

want to

use it,copy date/time shown manually to some other place

and set

the chart to that event.

 

(8) Enter your data only on DATA AND EVENT SHEETS in BOLD areas

only.

 

(9) You do not need to enter any data if you just need dashas

from

Rashi chart (except for mool dasha).So if you do not

know,just

leave it unchanged.It will do correctly.

 

(10)IT WILL NOT TAKE DATES BEFORE 1-1-1900 (unless you modify

it).

 

All calculations are correct upto seconds.Moon may be off by upto 5

seconds.

You may download ephemeris files for better accuracy from site given

below.

This program is based on swiss ephemeris and needs MSExcel 97. Visit:

http://www.astro.ch/swisseph for licence details of swiss ephemeris.

 

You can add your own calculations as there is no hidden code.

This is a freeware and open source/free code program.

You can freely copy/modify/distribute it for non commercial use.
