Ashtaka Varga Chart-Can any pne tell me how to interpret

AshtakaVarga chart is one of the techniques to interpret ones

destiny.I have found this mentioned in astrology books.I am not clear

how the iterpretation is done.

Some say that take the total points under Ascendant (Varga 1),total

points under 9th varga from Ascendent and total points under 11th

Varga from Ascendant and again add the total points. Compare this

total with the total points obtained similarly from 6th,8th,12th

Vargas.I am confused .Can we also predict which planet would be

beneficial to the candidiate during its dasa period.

 

Can anyone please clarify on Astaka Varga?
