I was very intrigued by your comment that "If your film is sort of off the beaten track with relation to religion or accepted mores of social behaviour, I would not be surprised." Actually, it is. It is a psychological/philosphical thriller based on the concept of Karma and the afterlife. It's different from the regular hollywood films in that it is more philosphical, introspective and revolves around the principle of karma. It's an ambitious project and I will really need all the help I get from the stars to make it happen. I have ordered a Coral ring as per your recomendation but I had another question regarding that. As you know I have Mars in my lagna and that causes Mangal Dosha. My wife doesn't have Mangal dosha, so I know thats a problem. Will wearing the Coral somehow influence my marriage too, as Mars aspects the 7th? I hope it will not have a negative influence. You appear to be under stres and understandably so. Though your Mars is in Ascendant, he is Shubha being a Kendradhipati and Yogakaraka beign Kendrakonadhipati.In addition your marital side is very safe as Jupiter aspects your 7th house therefore the Kuja Dosha is not efective in your case.Do wear the Mars 's gem and your confidence will grow and the project will take of smoothly.When this happens let me know. Guest guest Posted December 1, 2002 Report Share Posted December 1, 2002 Dear Chandrashekar, I am still a little confused about one thing: In my firend's case you considered the aspects to the 12th and 2nd houses of the debiliated Jupiter in the 8th to be positive, which will probably help her marriage survive. My question is that since Jupter is debiliated and also in the 8th shouldn't its aspects be considered negative? For example in my horoscope even though Saturn (in the 8th) is Vargottam I have experienced the negative effects of its aspects at times - in 96 when Saturn was transiting in Piscies and aspecting the 5th my wife had a miscarraige, also I suffered problems in my career in 97 due to its aspect to the 10th. That's why I am thinking why should Jupiter's aspect in her case be considered positive? Guest guest Posted December 2, 2002 Report Share Posted December 2, 2002 Dear Seth, I can understand your confusion.Jataka Parijata gives about five different combinations of Neechabhanga Rajyogas.One of them says that the if the Uchhnath of the debilitated planet be placed in kendra from Ascendant and/or Moon NBR is caused. You will notice that Uchhanath of Jupiter ,in your friend's case is Moon. It is placed in quadrant from Ascendant in 7th house and being moon is in quadrant from itself. Again debilitation of a planet only reduces its power but doesnot eradicate it totally.Jupiter is also lord of the 7th house and his impact on marital afairs are strengthened because of this. No doubt , his position in 8th has given your friend marital problems on this account. You should also consider the fact, taking your example, that where as Jupiter,s aspect is beneficial, that of Saturn is inimical modified by their relationship with the Ascendant rasi. I trust this will help you understand why I gave weightage to Jupiter's aspect in a positive way.
