12.0pt;font-family:"Trebuchet MS"">With reference to your book, under the

section 3.2.11 Planetary Abodes, Mars was not assigned an area. In the on going

process of tying up an astrological glossary, I have allocated Mars as the “war

torn” area.

Dear Swee,

Yes, there was a slip and Mars was left out in my book when

planetary abodes were mentioned.

Parasara assigned Mars the place of fire. Look at BPHS.

May Jupiter's light shine on us,

Om Krishna Guru

Dear Narasimhaji,

I had a look at both Santhanam's and GC Sharma's copies of BPHS and they

both mentioned Mars to be the fire element. Not abode.

On the elemental side, I take it that SE belongs to Mars and that's where

the kitchen should be.

That's the small picture from a global point of view :) perhaps I should

allocate this to a place in the Sun...... very hot climatic conditions,

hellish domain, fire place (for things stolen, perhaps)..... so many

implications.

Namaste, Swee
