Almanac used in JHLite

I was looking at the planetary longitude computation in JHLite

and most other software (e.g., http://paramdhaam.com/ ). It seems to

me that JHLite uses Vakya panchang to calculate planetary positions.

Is my assumption correct? Is vakya panchang accurate?
