I think the worst thing in the chart is the exchange of 7th and 6th houses(12th frm 7th ie. loss). I would request gurus to kindly comment on the chart and see if there is a possibility of marriage. The lady has had a lot of problems in her life her father dies some years back, lives with her mother. There is virtually no source of income, relatives are trying to loot what is left. She has a cyst (tumor) in her brain since birth, she also she has other psycological problems and gets fits due to cyst. She recently received an marriage offe r from a canada based guy but some how it dint work out although the guy had accepted her cyst initially. I know the lady personally and she is a very good and honest person. One General Question ..................... Let me start from the generic question you asked about how to determine if a person will have delayed marriage or will be denied marriage. With what little i have learnt, i think if the UL/lord itself is severely afflicted then it will be a denial of marriage. OTOH if the 2nd from UL/lord is afflicted then the marriage wont sustain. For example, venus being the lord of the UL afflicted and also placed in the 12th in Navamsa could deny marriage. Esp. if such a UL lord is also the AK. Pisces lagna rises in the chart of this lady. The badhak sthana is the 7th house which has Mars, Sun and Jupiter. Ofcourse as you have said, the lord of 6th Sun isn't really welcome here. Mars and mercury are dire enemies and though Jupiter is welcome in a kendra (as long as he does not own that kendra), Jupiter is in a sign of mercury. Lord of the 7th who is also the badhakesh mercury is pushed out to the 6th house and is along with moon, the lord of 5th (emotions). Interestingly moon also is the DK!. There aren't any aspects on the 7th house per-se but the 7th house itself is hemmed in between malefics. I take moon in this case as a malefic as it;s the dark phase of moon (Krishna paksha). The 7th lord mercury (badhakesh) receives aspects from Venus who is in her own house but afflicted by Rahu. 7th lord mercury also has the Graha drishti of Saturn. The 7th house receives argala from rahu and Venus and the same is obstructed by Mercury (badhakesh) and moon (DK). Hence there are roles being played by parents, moon her DK and her soul as mercury is her AK too. The UL falls in Gemini. UL lord is the badhakesh!!!!. and is afflicted by the association of moon and aspects from rahu and Venus. From the UL the badhak sthana is Sg and it;s lord Jupiter aspects UL. The 12th lord from UL, venus is unfortunately is with Rahu and 8th from lagna marring marital happiness. In the Navamsa, the 7th has the nodal axis and the 9th lord in D9 is pushed out to the 6th. Saturn in the 9th usually gives many responsibilities and would tend to make the person lead a lonely life! Fasting on Wednesday is the best remedy and also worship to lord Shiva. The Natural Atmakaraka is the Sun, and the Sun is very enimical to Venus the kalatra karaka, who also causes his debilitation. Hence the Soul cannot be happy and do its purpose if it associates with Venusian activities, such as luxuries, sex, etc. More can be learned in the Pachakadi Sambandha. For this reason, when the chara Atmakarakas activities is colored by the 7th house, Darapada or Upapada, the native may stay celibate, or not marry at all. In my case mercury ak is in lagna and is also the lord of 7th and UL, and i do sometimes think about staying away from marriage to avoid all the lies, and arguments that are spoken among couples. But then i do want to marry because maybe my mars is exalted also venus though venus is deb in navamsa. Sanjayji said -- AK related to UL is not the sole cause of the problem. Like Sanjayji has teached earlier that Updesa Sutra shud be used along with the standard prashara system. So i think we should use a combination of both rather than just one of them. Thus i think the exchange of 7th and 6th and AK related to UL and other marriage signification afflicted might have denied her marriage so far. Ofcourse i maybe wrong, i am just learning. Pls have a look and check for birth time accuracy etc. i have pasted her email as it is. First Attack of dad: In fed , exactly the same date the date our president Frakhudinn ali expired it was in 1978. Next i gave up education same year. In 1981 another attack in May, and closure of business in April ., same year , and in Sept another massive attack where he lost his memory and lived on bed for rest of the time , in 1984 we moved to Versova, and in 1988 paralysis, 5th Oct.1989 he expired it was thursday and navratri panchmi(lalita panchmi). In 1988 or 87, i dont remember well he had a hip fracture too and was operated for the hip ball. In 1984, his kidney was also operated on nephroctomy. In 1991 chnage of residence from the place where dad had expired . One episode of depression in 1992 and one in 1997 or 96 i dont remem well , the first one was short timed, the second lasted without meds for abt 5/6 mths, and this third was in Oct., 2000 and been on mediciness and cyst was traced last year(2001) in June .
