Guest guest
Dear Katti, Thanks for this detailed explanation.I am a new member of this group and certainly learning a lot from this wonderful site !! I would like to add my comments too (in bold for clarity) Let's start with bheeta avastha. Bheetha avastha comes only when the planet motion is very fast. but a planet which has just started retro isnt fast at all. This i remember Sanjay guru correcting me some time back. Thus this planet which has just started retro isnt close to being fast at all. The bheeta avastha has to do with speed and not with direct or retro motion. YOU ARE RIGHT !! Now to the effects of a retro planet in the 12th from karakamsa. The same logic of what Visti taught me regarding badhakesh being retro. Badhakesh is similar to lord ganesh. When badhakesh is retro lord ganesh isnt doing what he likes best... like eating ladoo's.... what happens? all vigna's land up at our door step!!!! what does one do? we pray more vrigorously so that he does accept our offerings and removes all these vigna's... my earlier mail kinda told the same thing... because of the fact that the planet is retro a couple of things happen. A VERY INTERESTING ANALOGY. I HAVE A SMALL DOUBT IN THIS CONNECTION PLS: WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE BADAKESH ALSO HAPPENS TO BE A YOGAKARAKA (LIKE MANGAL FOR SIMHA LAGNA) WHAT WILL THE EFFECTS BE THEN ?? Thus a retro planet does show the istha.. but the means of pleasing the ishta would be very tough since the sacrifice you are offering wont be accepted easily. A VERY LOGICAL EXPLANATION.RETRO PLANETS ONLY INDICATE DELAYS/OBSTACLES IN ACHIEVING THE OBJECTIVE AND NOT NECESSARILY DENIAL OF THE FRUITS !! When it does the anti-zodiacal, I see it as if it doesn't want to do that. When planets are said to be in bheeta avastha and all that, it appears that they're actually running away (in fear or cowardice or whatever) from what they're s'posed to be doing. My query germinated from such thoughts. > > Like you must've observed, my question wasn't on the AK itself but that planet which is to show who the ID is. By being retro, does it not want to show the ID at all, or what is it? That was, and continues to be, my doubt. > > Partha's comments (his first non-spiteful response to me, didja observe? ) on chestabala were correct, but not somehow relevant in the context of what I've asked, I felt. I could be wrong. > > Warm regards, > > Rama > hubli@v... > > - > Katti Narahari > vedic astrology > Thursday, October 17, 2002 1:42 PM > Re: [vedic astrology] An ishta devata doubt > > > Om Gurave Namah > > -- -------- > > Dear Rama, > > Let me try attempting this. > > A retro planet indicates fruits denied and the only way to achieve this is by putting more efforts. Thus to realize the istha, this would mean that the person will have to make extra efforts. Also a retro planet always has the knack of reversing it;s indications... thus again indicating that delays, frustrations could manifest in the path towards realization of the ishta. > > Let;s wait for inputs from guru's > > regds > > Hari > > > - > Ramapriya D > Vedic astro post > Thursday, October 17, 2002 12:43 PM > [vedic astrology] An ishta devata doubt > > > Hi, > > If the twelfth from karakamsha in a horoscope has a retro planet, does it mean that the ishta devata represented by it is actually running away from wanting to be the guiding spirit (towards moksha)? I'd be grateful if a guru clarifies. > > Ramapriya > hubli@v... > > > > > > Group info: vedic- astrology/info.html > > To UNSUBSCRIBE: Blank mail to vedic astrology-@e... > > .......
