Sade Sati periods are not always bad

My birth details are : Nov 3, 1974 4.10pm, Bombay.

 

I believe that sade sati periods are not always bad. Let me briefly

outline a timeline...

 

My education was completed in mid 1996 during Ra dasa which ended

later that year. The start of Ju Dasa was not very good as I was

struggling to find a job. I got a job in Ju-Ju-Sa in Bombay in an IT

company. (Sa aspects my 10th in Rasi and Navamsa)

The sade sati period started in end May 1998 when Sat moved to Aries.

In the start of May I went to Belgium on a project for my company.

There was an increase in money as well as good work. This was in Ju-

Ju-Mo. (possibly the effect of GajaKesari)

I returned home to Bombay in Jan '99 during Ju-Sa-Sa and got a break

in the then leading web technologies with the same company.

I resigned from my company in April of 2000 when I latched on to an

oppurtunity to come to the US (greed? - not sure of Shani likes this

behaviour) in May during Ju-Sa-Mo. (Again its the pratiyantar dasa of

Mo). Once again it was better work and more money so I believe its a

step forward. A point to note is that my efforts to get to US had

been started in Nov '99. Sat moved from Ar to Ta in Jun 2000. I

started my first project in Jul 2000 in Chicago with an Airline in Ju-

Sa-Ma.

My first real setback occurred in mid 2001 when the airline industry

was sufferring deeply (this is before 9-11) and I was laid off in Ju-

Me-Me. Over the next 4-5 months I changed my focus away from airlines

and into media and I got a position with a media firm in Atlanta in

Dec 2001 during Ju-Me-Ve.

There have been no significant developments since then. However I am

looking at the period post Dec this year since Sat will move back

into Ta briefly. I think I'll have to be careful during this time

since Sa will be very close to my natal moon and will be retro. The

pass made by Sa earlier this year in Jul over my natal moon did not

have significant impact.

Overall I think I have to thank a favourable Ju as my asc and 10th

lord. Although placed in the 12th I did not face the kind of

difficulties mentioned in classical texts for this placement.

 

I also have to add that I have not been able to relax much, enjoy

much and have stayed on my toes during the last 7 odd years. There

has been a lot of responsibility and an adherence to discipline I had

to maintain. It is for these reasons I believe that sade sati periods

are not bad although you need to make certain sacrifices.

 

Believe in what you do and take time to do things correctly - not

hastily.
