Guest guest
Vyam Vyaasadevaaya Namah Dear Cynthia and Nicholas, The observation that there is barely any difference in KSY and KAY, is pretty much right. See in both cases the person is stretched between the extremeties of following their sense-desires (rahu) or renouncing it all (ketu). This Yoga continues until the natural age of Rahu (42) or Ketu (45), afterwhich the person settles on the path they want. In case of KSY, the person admits the lust for desires, and takes that path. In the meantime, all the Yogas in the chart are disfunctional, unless they follow the path layed out by either Rahu or Ketu. I.e. a person with great Yogas for fame, cannot get any results in the material-arena, if he has Kala Amrita Yoga. Instead he HAS to follow the spiritual path, and maybe teach a yoga class, or whatever, and then the fame comes.. but still to a small extent. The reason for the Yoga is a VERY deep inner desire of the native, from the past birth, which the Mana of this birth cannot seem to grasp, and hence the distress. This desire is related to the lordship and placement of either Rahu or Ketu, as well as its dispositors. I.e. Say in case of KAY, Ketu lords Lagna (scorpio), hence a deep desire to manifest the personality/nature, within the realm of spirituality occurs. If Ketu is in the 3rd, then this takes some will-power, i.e. Parakrama.. this could be in the form of writing, or other 3rd house activities. Either way, the person must pick up a weapon of sorts, be it a pen or a sword. The dispositor of Ketu will show, how this desire will manifest. i.e. if in 7th, then through partners. If in 11th then through learning Astrology. In this mannor you would appreciate that this yoga works to dominate the entire lifes theme. This is the desire of the Soul, and the mind can either cry, fight, or follow along. Some comfort is that when the Yoga reaches maturity, the soul is freed, and possibly all those raja yoga that have been waiting, will take the person to an incredible height. Good examples are Larry King, George Bush Jr, Nehru.. there are no doubt more, but note the age of their rise. Seeing all the arguments up front give individuals the chance to make their own informed choices . Kind regards to all Nicholas - cynthia novak gjlist Friday, October 04, 2002 11:01 PM Re: [GJ] Re: In the grasp of the great serpent Dear Nicholas You are correct. No matter how you turn the wheel, the nodes are moving backward. Today all the visible planets fall from Gemini to Libra, Rahu is in Taurus and Ketu in Scorpio. Since the dragon moves backward, Ketu is moving toward the planets no matter what the lagna. Nicholas, have you seen much difference between the manifestation of this yoga when Ketu moves toward the planets or when Rahu does? c Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya; Hare Krishna; Om Tat SatTo , send an email to: gjlist-http://www.goravani.comYour use of is subject to the
