Guest guest
Vyam Vyasa-devaya Namah. Dear List, What happens when some planet casts aspects on a rasi owned by Sun. Isnt sun too bright for the aspect not to materialize? Moreover, what if Sun and Moon are in mutual aspects. It is evident that Sun's aspects may decrease the power of moon. Please correct me or give a better explanation. Thanks, Siva.
Guest guest
Dear Siva, Sun is bright alright, but where does it say that Leo is also on fire? That said, I think we must see effects of a planet on another as an indirect effect vis-a-vis the earth, and only the earth. If Rahu and Moon are in a particular position, it causes a solar eclipse. Does it mean the sun ain't burning at that moment? It only implies that the earth, because of its transitory position at the time, lies such that sunlight is barred from reaching it. Neither Rahu nor Moon have made even a dent at the Sun, and never will. It's all relative, afaik. But then, this is only mho. I'm not too sure what you imply by stating that Sun might decrease Moon's power when in mutual aspects. If Moon is at 7H from Sun, it has its highest pakshabala, and not ironically either! Moon after all (in fact, no planet other than the Sun) doesn't have any innate source of illumination, and what it reflects is actually sunlight itself. Only it isn't that warm enough Ramapriya hubli (AT) vsnl (DOT) com - schinnas vedic astrology Saturday, October 05, 2002 10:44 PM [vedic astrology] Aspects of lumniaries Vyam Vyasa-devaya Namah.Dear List, What happens when some planet casts aspects on a rasi owned by Sun. Guest guest
Vyam Vyaasadevaaaya Namah Dear Siva, The term "aspect" you mention is called; "Dristi" in classics and means "sight" or "to see". Please rephrase your question keeping this in mind.
