There may be more to his troubles. Note that Saturn is in 9th and

aspects Sun and 9th lord along with Rahu. This shows the curse of

father from past life. As Mercury in the 6th house is with Sun, he

and 6th house are also aspected by Saturn and Rahu. A maternal uncle

joined father in the curse.

 

Rahu's antardasa in Rahu's dasa is running now, as per Moola dasa

(which, among other things, shows when curses manifest). Overall,

Rahu dasa (2000-2015) is bad. Especially Rahu-Rahu and Rahu-Saturn

are troublesome (2000-2003 and 2006-2009).

 

Giving a Vishnu idol to a temple, feeding brahmins (learned men and

priests), helping brahmins and sponsoring a marriage will give relief

from the curses.

Yes, it is important. Varahamihira, Kalyana Verma, Prithuyasas all

talked about Moola dasa prominently.

 

Especially when you see curses in a chart, do look at Moola dasa.

Sanjay taught curses and Moola dasa extensively at the Ukiah

conference. Whenever the tapes are made available, try to obtain

them. Those lectures of Sanjay are priceless.

Of course, you are right. But then, Rahu shows a lot of evil in the D-

60 and Saturn is fine. So mainly Rahu is going to punish (see D-60

for yourself). So I would guess the area of curse from Rahu rather

than Saturn. Moreover, it is Rahu's Moola dasa running right now. In

my judgment, whatever punishment is coming from Rahu now is the

worst. I am hoping that Saturn dasa to come later will be ok.

 

Nemo, along with the remedial measures given for the curse, reading

Rudra Chamakam is good for you now. Also, try to read the mantra

below 108 times (or just 11 times if 108 is tough) everyday:

 

Om Namassivaaya Bhavaaya Namastryambakeswaraaya

 

Sun is your ishta. I would recommend Shiva than Rama in your case.

Sun is in Pisces. Tryambakeswara is the correct form of Jyotirlinga.

Moreover, Gemini rises in your D-10 and worship of Tryambakeswara

will be good for your career. So I gave a 17-syllable mantra for

Tryambakeswar. Your 5th house Aq has Jupiter and Venus protecting

your AL in Ge. That is why I chose 17 letters (17-12=5). This mantra

will be useful to you from many angles. If possible, visit

Tryambakeswar temple in Nasik too.

 

As usual, whenever I give a mantra, I recommend giving some guru

dakshina to me to get the best results. Please go to a local temple

and make a donation to the temple in my name (PVR Narasimha Rao).

That will make you free from any debt. All the best!
