Doubts in determining strengths

Hi all

I have following doubt in determining the strengths in

ND calculations when it comes to Aq/Sc.

Assume that the nth house happens to be Aq or Sc.

In D1(rasi) if for example Taking Aq as the house

under consideration and both Ra & Sa is placed in same

house.(Not in Aq). Same logic can be extended to Sc

also.

Now comes the difficult part.

assume following cases:

1. One of the planet is Vargottam(in same house in

D1,D9) and other is exalted.

2. One of the planet is vargottam & other is

debilitated

3.One is vargottam and other is advanced in longitude.

4. Assuming both are in Aq.

 

The question is

in cases 1-3 should we treat the vargottama planet

stronger Or Exalted>vargottam>debilitated.

How to determine if both planets occupy Aq Or Sc ?

 

Or should we determine stronger of the two in the

corresponding Dn chart and initiate the ND rather than

taking the position of the nth lord in Dn chart?
