Mrityunjaya mantra

Dear Gurus & friends

 

I tried to search for Mrityunjaya mantra in the archives of sjvc,

varahamihira & this List, in the lessons in the Files section. Can

anyone point out the chapter in VRA where the full mantra could be ?

I can try to search thru the whole book of course, tonight, but

nowadays I am just rushing into ... let me not take more of your

time. Please cc your reply at my personal id (nanadhan)

Dear Nandan,

Among the latter chapters, wherein Mantras for Shiva are given.

If i remember correctly:

 

"Om Tryambakam Yajamahe Sugandhim Pustivardhanam,

Urvarookamiva Bandhanaam Mrityormoksheeya Maamritat"

I think "Urvarookamiva" should read "urvaarukamiva", and "Bandhanaam"

as "Bandhanaat or bandhanaan" (because of sandhi).

 

Besides I was taught "Mrityormuksheeya" not as "Mrityormoksheeya".
