Guest guest
Guruji, Thank you for your response. My Rasi langa is Sagittarius. My navamsa lagna is one of Saggitarius or Scorpio or Libra (since my birth time can be off by upto 10 minutes, I can have any of the above three navamsas). Based on my current birth time of 1.30pm, sept 27, 1977, I get Scorpio navamsa. I think it doesnt fit by character at all. I should either be saggitarius navamsa or libra. BTW, I tried to do request birth time correction through your website using paypal, but my email to you bounced back saying your vsnl mailbox is full (It happened a few days back)! Please let me know if it is taken care off now. Shri. Sivaganalingam was kind enough to give a method (Gunta) to check the correctness of my rasi lagna longitude to fix birth time. However even few minute differences in longitude of rasi langa greatly affects the results of Gunta method, I am confused. I tried 2/3 different software to find the correct lagna longitude and each software gives a different (upto 30 minutes) longitude for langa. I feel birth time and navamsa langa can be corrected only using previous events and matching them using an accurate dasa by a well trained jyotish guru. Methods like Gunta give confusing results due to differeces between various ayanamsas and ephemeris.
