Questions: 1) Should the transit impact be studied from the ascendant OR from the moon rashi? I went to some websites and I'm seeing contradictory impact description between ascendants and moon rashis,i.e. for moon rashi Leo, Jupiter is in the 12th house which isn't too positive; however, for Scorpio ascendants, Jupiter is in the benefic 9th house which is extremely positive. -- Same is the case with Saturn. 2) Can someone post the transit impact for the various moon rashis/ascendants? Since the 6th house is also the lagna lord's mtk for those ascendants, I don't think the beneficence is such a foregone conclusion. I also remember reading that Mars in the lagna in Scorpio is a particularly uncomfy situation given its aspect on the 8th house. Ditto for Venus in Libra when the asc is Taurus (marana sthana for Venus). I'm open to be corrected. It will be helpful if you can refer appropriate sections in CoVA/Jaimini Upadesa Sutras. I have read that malefics in 3, 6,9,11, 12 from AL is good. Similarly benefics in 2,4,5,8,9,10,11 are good. Is this what are you referring?.
