Guest guest
Dear Sir, Thanks for your method. I tried the Kunda method. If I use birth time as 1.30 PM ,27-sept, 1977 and place as Karur, TN, India, I get ascendent in 24 degree 27 minutes in Saggitarius. My birth star is uttar bhadrapada (uthiratathi in tamil). Using Kunda method, multiplying 24Sg27 with 81 and removing multiples of 360, I get 0 degree 27 minutes in virgo, which corresponds to the star Uttara Phalguni, which is 14th from my birth star. So by the Kunda method, the lagna degree and ascendent fail. How should I proceed now. Thank you for sharing your wisdom. I am enjoying this learning process. should I now try to fix a ascendent degree/minute so that it satisfies Kunda method and then fix the birth time to fit the ascendent longitude? Looking forward to your response. -Siva. --- sivagnanalingam <sivatheva wrote: > Jaya Jagannatha ! > > Dear Siva, > > Before we going to navamsa lagna , we must be sure > about the Rasi > lagna longitudes. Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah, Dear Siva, you also try to keep Kunda nakshatra in trines to you nama nakshatra. If i falls neither in trines to janma or nama nakshatra then try adjusting time to a nearest trines. -warm regards s.prabhakaran vedic astrology, Siva Chinnasamy <schinnas> wrote: > Dear Sir, > Thanks for your method. > I tried the Kunda method. > > If I use birth time as 1.30 PM ,27-sept, 1977 and > place as Karur, TN, India, I get ascendent in 24 > degree 27 minutes in Saggitarius. Guest guest
Dear Sanjay, Thank you. However since I am very new to astology, you may have to explain more in plain english. What is nama nakshatra? Is it same as the nakshatra that corresponds to moon (a.k.a janma nakshatra). Also, what do you mean by "trines to your nama nakshatra". Moreover, which ayanamsa is most accurate for these purposes. Shoudl I try Lahiri/Raman or Krishnamurthy. Thanks, Siva. vedic astrology, "sanjayprabhakaran" <sprabhakaran@s...> wrote: > Om Gurave Namah, > Dear Siva, > you also try to keep Kunda nakshatra in trines to you nama > nakshatra. > If i falls neither in trines to janma or nama nakshatra then try > adjusting time to a nearest trines. > -warm regards > s.prabhakaran > > vedic astrology, Siva Chinnasamy <schinnas> wrote: > > Dear Sir, > > Thanks for your method. > > I tried the Kunda method. > > > > If I use birth time as 1.30 PM ,27-sept, 1977 and > > place as Karur, TN, India, I get ascendent in 24 > > degree 27 minutes in Saggitarius.
