A clarification on sade-sathi and yogas

Hi,

 

I've a clarification to seek about the sade-sathi effect. Does the

zone of influence of Saturn commence and end 45 degrees either side

of Moon's longitude or adjacent rashis irrespective of Moon's

longitude within a rashi? By arithmetic logic, the former looks

probable. I know of an astrophysicist in Hubli (a village in

Karnataka), who's also an astrologer of reasonable renown, who'd

told me this 45-degree thing some months ago.

 

I must state here that he didn't answer too convincingly when I

asked him why the various yogas shouldn't be inferred on parallel

lines using referential longitudes.

 

Wonder what the views of the gurus here are...
