Guest guest
Is someone has Moon and Ketu together in fourth house, what are the possible effects. For an example case for discussion say it is in Meena rasi for Dhanus lagna (Moon is lordof 8th in this case, but is still considered a benefic). 1. Moon stands for elegant / royal thinking while Ketu stands for spiritualism, confusion, etc. What will be the resulting behaviour? Will it be influenced much by waxing/waning moons or by dasas or the person will always exhibit both traits? 2. Ketu also stands for accidents. Since house 4 refers to vehicles does this imply accidents for the native? What is the effect of moon on this? 3. Since Moon stands for mother and house 4 also stand for mother, does this imply any health (physical or mental) problems for mother of the native during ketu desa or bukthi of the native? 4. Since 4th house also covers property/house, does this mean the native will be associated with ashrams or spiritual houses (temples, monastries, churches, etc) in some way? Again, what is the role of moon in this equation. Thank you. siva.

Guest guest
Just a brief observation in passing.Meen is a dwiswabhav rashi.Moon is mind and Ketu is serpents tail.As you will be aware serpents tail habitually moves rhythmically from one side to another.Besides a serpent can securely grip anything by intertwining its body around the object it is with. Therefore in Ketu dasha when ketu will be predominant over the moon, the serpent i.e.ketu will grip moon the mind and move it from one direction to another, more so because of the dwiswabhav rashi meen. There will be thus great indecision. In one case of a lady who had moon and ketu conjuct in lagna, the entire 7 years of ketu dasha were spent by the lady in deciding whether to divorce her husband or not.She was practically changing her thoughts in the matter every day, today saying that she will divorce him and tommorow saying no.I have seen indecision in all such cases of moon with ketu, more so in ketu dasha, the subject of indecision varying depending on the sign and the house.Bye RKvedic- astrology, "schinnas" <schinnas> wrote: > Is someone has Moon and Ketu together in fourth house, what are the > possible effects. Guest guest
Thanks Shri. Baqaya, for the observations. Personally, I have noted two things due to Ketu-Moon in 4th house (that of meena, owned by lagna lord, guru and aspected by Sun). >From my personal experience, these are my observations: 1. As you said, indecisiveness and restlessness. However sometimes, I know what I want and there is no wavering of mind. May be this is due to the aspect of Sun on 4th house being owned by Jupiter, the lagna lord. 2. Though by nature, I love to talk (due to strong mercury) and be with friends, sometimes Ketu makes me very introverted. 3. Ability to differentiate emotion from logic. Sometimes (when Ketu influence is more,) I find myself devoid of usual sentitivity. 4. I have had some minor accidents due to Ketu in 4, but was never injured in a big way due to good placement of other grahas. 5. My mother says she always had some minor health problem or the other after my birth (may be due to Ketu affecting the house of mother and planet for mother?) I heard when Ketu is placed in a Kendra and in the house of Guru (which is lagna lord in my case), it reduces its bad effects and gives more of its good effects (such as spiritual inclination, selflessness, etc). May be that is the reason I havent experienced major obstacles due to Ketu. However the coming Ketu dasha will answer all these questions! One rule that I follow when I am very indecisive is to toss a coin and go as it says. May be I should follow it more during Ketu dasha Astrologically, is there anything that can be done to avoid the mental confusion and indecisiveness created by Ketu? Guest guest
Siva, My 4-yr old son has a Moon-Ketu combo in 7H in Aqua, with a retro Merc to give Rahu company in lagna (Sat debilitated and alone in Aries). Let's see what happens to him. Iirc, Hitler had this combine too. Your coin-tossing reminds me of a classmate who had the same habit while resolving doubtful true-false answers. He was so indecisive that he usually checked his answers too (with another toss!), and his sheets were usually one heck of a mess by the end... Ramapriya hubli PS: If you believe that story, you'll believe anything :-> vedic astrology, "schinnas" <schinnas> wrote: > Thanks Shri. Baqaya, for the observations. Guest guest
Just thought that I could add that I have (full)moon-ketu conjunction in Pisces/10th house,(Jupiter in 5th house in Libra) and I think I will agree with Shinnas on all the points made...sometimes it takes time to make a decision on things,(I just like to buy time until I commit),interest in many topics (Mercury /Sun./Rahu aspect from 4th house)...love to talk (fast!),and although I am in the entertainment/music industry (now) I can be very reclusive. I am just finishing up my Ketu dasa (this November)...Ketu was very good to me,by the way, in general,(didn't get any mental confusion by the way,it was very strong time for my career,I think if anything it pulled me a little away from my spiritual practices on the whole))...now let us see what Venus will bring!!!!!!!...mmdd - "ramapriya_d" <ramapriya_d <vedic astrology> Sunday, September 15, 2002 11:05 AM [vedic astrology] Re: Report: Moon-Ketu conjunction (Gurus & learned please help) > Siva, > > My 4-yr old son has a Moon-Ketu combo in 7H in Aqua, with a retro > Merc to give Rahu company in lagna (Sat debilitated and alone in > Aries). Vandy
Hi, I have Ketu - Moon( Exalted) in taurus in 5th house with following planets in my chart : Lagna - Capricorn Mercury in Capricorn in 1st House Sun in Aquarius in 2nd House Venus ( Exalted ) & Jupiter together in Pisces in 3rd House Ketu & Moon in Taurus in 5th House Saturn in Gemini in 6th House Pluto in Virgo in 9th House Uranus in Libra 10th House Rahu & Neptune in Scorpio 11th House Mars in Sagitarrius in 12th House DOB - 20th Feb 1975, Time - 5.55AM, Mumbai, India With the above planets I have been suffering emotionally from a very long time. Dont know which planet is the culprit but I feel its Ketu-Moon which leads to failure in relationships and increase in mental restlessness, insecurities and depression. Since moon is the lord of 7th house I have been advised not to wear pearl as 7th is Marak house but inspite of wearing Amethyst, Emerald & Diamond ring I have not been successful in getting married and now I have developed a suicidal tendancy which at times is so high that I need to divert my mind to other things. Is it due to Ketu - moon conjuction? Can anyone tell me how to cure my moon. Regards, Vandy
