Planetary placements - an elementary doubt

Hi,

 

It is widely held that the placement of a planet at a dusthana from

its house is undesirable, as is its placement in a dusthana in

reference to the lagna. I want to know which is worse? For example,

if Jupiter is in Cancer and Leo for a Virgo native, how would the

effects on his fourth house vary?
