exaltion and debilitation

hi ashwin

i'd gone to BVB ....there i found a book "jyotishiya

ganit avam khagol shastra"-vimal prasad jain

there was paragraph relevant to this topic in its

preface .

".......most of the sidhhanta classical texts state

that farthest point is the exaltation point & nearest

point is the debilitation point. however, progression

in the difference between various orbits changes the

farthest point."

well, this confirms my point. but next two lines

create another confusion which the auhor has forgotton

to deal with.

" .........as we know sun is exalted near

april-may,bcoz it used to b on/near its farthest

point(20,700 yrs before) . but now, it is on its

farthest point on 5 th july,which would mean that it

is exalted in 19deg gemini....."

he just says "beej samskars" r therefor essential to

makeit balanced.
