Guest guest
hi ashwin i'd gone to BVB ....there i found a book "jyotishiya ganit avam khagol shastra"-vimal prasad jain there was paragraph relevant to this topic in its preface . ".......most of the sidhhanta classical texts state that farthest point is the exaltation point & nearest point is the debilitation point. however, progression in the difference between various orbits changes the farthest point." well, this confirms my point. but next two lines create another confusion which the auhor has forgotton to deal with. " .........as we know sun is exalted near april-may,bcoz it used to b on/near its farthest point(20,700 yrs before) . but now, it is on its farthest point on 5 th july, which would mean that it is exalted in 19deg gemini....." he just says "beej samskars" r therefor essential to makeit balanced. prashant --- prashant narang <prashantnarang wrote: > jai siyaram > thanx ashwin for the valuable piece of informtion. > iwill try to find mor for other planets . > now i won't stress on any particular theory related > to > this topic, till i do a research on my own > prashant > --- omnamah108 wrote: > > OM > > > > Dear Prashant, > > > > >regarding exaltation & dbilitation i would like > to > > > say > > > >that these don't have to do with any > astrological > > > >reasoning, but reason is astronomical. > otherwise > > > why > > > >mars is exalted in capri ,a sign of saturn, or > > why > > > >venus is debilitated in virgo a sign of > mercury. > > > >now one can go on creating some or the other > > > reasoning > > > >but there is absolutely no reasoning given in > > the > > > >ancient texts(pls. correct me if i m wrong) > > > >the astronoimacl reason is when the planet is > > > farthest > > > > J.N.
