Guest guest
Learned souls, I was reading in depth about ganda moola nakshatras.I am interested in knowing more about this. Strangely I am a Jyeshta 4th pada(Vajra Yoga). My wife a Ashlesha 4th pada.My son also is a Jyeshta 4th pada(Atigandha). This strange aggregation of Ganda moola nakshatras prompted me to investigate further. Any knowledge on various aspects of Gandamoola nakshatras is welcome. I remember as a child when I was born they said I would bring bad luck to my father and family. I always fought that logic because whats good for me is good for my family and I was a brilliant student. Now my son is born in my same nakshatra and as per gocharas the general astrological goods and bads were same for me and him. Thanx Chris Khanna
Guest guest
Om Namo Naaraayanaayah! ---------------------- Dear Chris! Any nakshatra that ends simultaneously with the rasi is called gandantha nakshatra. (Ashlesha nakshatra and KARKATAKA Rasi ends simultaneously, so also Jyestha-VRISCHIKA and Revathi-MEENA) In most of the astrological works authors considered that Gandantha nakshatras is dangerous for the life of the child, and particularly if it is the last quarter of that nakshatra. As the end of the road / turnings are dangerous to the passengers as he/she is not fully aware of what is there on the otherside, so also these Gandantha padas are considered to be dangerous for the longivity of the child born if there is no benefic influence to counteract it. But I do not know whether they can bring bad luck to the family. Kindly others through some light on this topic.
