Guest guest
Dear all, I take all my words back. Please don't say that I am a guru. My way of expression might be irritating for some of you, but honestly I don't know a single thing about astro. Qamar Waheed Naqvi, please I am not here to discuss theism or monotheism. Please forgive me! Please! Coming to the original topic, I guess katti is right about saturn. I've personally apologised to katti. He is a guru. I accept it. But please talk about only these issues, issues like saturn. Maybe you (Katti) think that I am a loser in astrology, but the teachers I learn from are experienced and I've decided that atleast in the beginning I would stick to their views on not using navamshas, dasthuna, etc. But I certainly want to discuss saturn and other planets. Maybe if I am convinced at some stage that the complex concepts of Indian astrology do have a strong effect, then I'll start learning them too. By the way, I was going through Alan Leo's book on astrology. He said that saturn in 7th is very good for relationships. He said that if it isn't afflicted then it is really very good. I just want to ask people that how can saturn be so good in 7th, when most of the people say that its the great malefic. If its good there, then why its a malefic? William Lilly says that saturn and mars both are unfortunate in 7th house. Person with these planets have ill-fortune in marriage. Why is that? He goes on further to say that persons with saturn either in ascendant or the 7th house makes one less inclined to marriage. Someone in a message here said that saturn likes to make relationships as it is exalted in natural 7th house(libra). I think that there must be some other thing associated with 7th house due to which saturn is exalted there. Maybe it likes to go abroad because 7th house also indicates that. Guest guest
Dear Farrukh, I suggest you read Hari's mail again carefully. He was not trying to prove you right or wrong, but merely raised certain questions to further the discussion. For some reason, the response got diverted to non-astrological issues, which I think we should ignore. So we may reiterate the steps and continue with the discussion by responding to the issues raised by Hari. This should generate a fruitful discussion on jyotish. This is a list on Vedic Astrology and Hari raised certain questions regarding the basic principles of Vedic Astrology...he did not say whether they were right or wrong. Since you mention Alan Leo and William Lilly, maybe it would be a constructive exercise to compare and analyse their methods with the principles mentioned by Hari in his mail. The discussion will then proceed. Regards, Sarbani farrukhnauman wrote: Dear all, I take all my words back. Please don't say that I am a guru. Guest guest
Dear Farrukh, As you have said you take all your words back, but you can't since it's too late. Words are very expansive, so use it wisely. It's easy to spend, but it is impossible to earn it back. Thank you, Jayesh vedic astrology, "farrukhnauman" <farrukhnauman> wrote: > Dear all, > I take all my words back. Please don't say that I am a guru.
