It was interesting to read the various

reactions and opinions to your point of view Farrukhnauman.[i hope I got the

spelling right.]

In my opinion, which I would like to

share with you....

 

In our study and practice of the various

detialed calculations we must not forget that true essence of learning or

practising astrology which is mainly to understand life from a different

prospective and to be able to help others around us in doing the same.We may

often get so involved in studying the deep combinations that we may forget what

they really are trying to indicate .It is not important wether you were able to

get all the detialed calculation or if your calculations were more in depth

than the other or if you were able to look at the differeing positions more

than the other as astrology is not about proving one self its about learning

from it about life.It is more important what you did with the knowledge you

have.If one did not know the name of a particular combination of plannets but

was able to help the suffering person the aim was fullfilled.

As per me the real essence of astrology

does not come from the detials of the various calculations but form someone

saying that you as an astrologer made a difference in thier life.The true

reward comes when you are able to make a helpless person understand how he can

feel better about his life and get him back the jist to live with a positive

attitude which he may have lost during a rough patch.

As for the age as some one mentioned,age

is only physical.A person as young as 8 years old has at times performed

miracles beyond many.Our true age is the stage at which our soul is not at what

our body is.Some times a person born may be born with the knowledge another may

leaarn in that whole life .

We as astrologers no mater how much we

know or dont know for that matter should be able to make positive changes

around us.
