Remember the following: The first hora of the day is ruled by the weekday ruler (e.g. Sun for Sunday, Moon for Monday, Mars for Tuesday, Mercury for Weenesday etc). Then horas change in the order of Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury, Moon. This is in the increasing order of average speed of motion w.r.t. earth. For example, take Sunday. Horas go as Sun, Venus, Mercury, Moon, Saturn (start again), Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury, Moon etc. When you finish 24 horas, you will see that the next hora (i.e. first hora of the next day) automatically turns out to be Moon's. In fact, the order of weekdays is derived from this. The above hora order is the most fundamental thing in Jyotish. Guest guest
Please find enclosed an excel sheet for planetary hora. You can take the printout. It is a very small table which can easily fit your pocket for easy reference. This table is prepared for the taking sunrise time as 6 am. Same need to be adjusted for different sunrise time. For Eg. if the Sun rise time is 6.30am then hora starts from 6.30am. So, On sunday 6.30am it is Sunhora starts, 7.30am Venus Hora starts. Hope it is useful. Guest guest
Dear Sir, In SJVC Parampara we take the hora hour to start from 6am,so I don't think we need to change your excel sheet. With regards, Jagmeet
Guest guest
Dear friends , Please find the HORA TABLE as an EXCEL Sheet also. Can someone guide me in how to use it for normal day to day work. Example:In case I want to commence some work related to 10th house ie profession should I start on the Day and Hora of 10th lord or in case someone wants to get married should it be the Day and Hora of 7th lord ? But if the 10th lord/7th lord happen to be Saturn/jupiter and they also happen to be Bhadkesh what hora should be chosen? The next question is that Day and Hora may be right but the chart for that time may not be good? What do we do than?
