Guest guest
Dear Guru's, My questions rarely get answered but do I hope this one will get some answers. I have read many conflicting theories about planets being conjunct with Rahu. In a chart where the Lagna is Leo and Mars and Rahu conjunct are in the 2nd house with the dispositor being strong in the 1st, what effect does this create? I've read it ruins significations of Mars but also create good results. Is there a sort of Neechabanga here as Mars is afflicted but the dispositor is in a Kendra? Guest guest
vyam vedavyasaaya namah Dear Harsha, Mars with Rahu causes Vijaya Yoga, and causes some struggle, before Mars siezes the day, in the end of Rahu Dasa. It will start with some desire, to enhance your personal fortune, resulting in a change of job(Papargala of Rahu on 10th lord and 10th house, twice(obstruction by sun). This would however lead to more misfortune, until Mars Antara comes. Make sure you calculate your Vimshottari from Lagna. Dwisaptati Sama Dasa is also applicable to your chart: http://sjvcusa.org/lessons/dwisaptati_dasa.htm Best wishes, Visti. - hjay vedic astrology Wednesday, August 07, 2002 6:25 AM [vedic astrology] Planets Conjunct with Rahu Dear Guru's,My questions rarely get answered but do I hope this one will get some answers.I have read many conflicting theories about planets being conjunct with Rahu. Guest guest
Dear Visti, Thanks a lot for the analysis. The US chart seems to have this same combination (Vijaya Yoga). I looked at the Sama Dasa article but couldn't figure out very much out of it. About the end of the Rahu Dasa (Rahu-Mars), true, it made me start something with a lot of struggle but ended up pretty good in the end (when Jupiter dasa started). Already had one big misfortune during Ju-Ju-Ma. I don't see a change in career though and it hasn't happened still. I visited a very good astrologer 6 months back and he said my 28th year will be the best year of my life (Ju-Ke). Does this have something to do with Dwisaptati Sama Dasa? Thanks you, Harsha vedic astrology, "Visti Larsen" <vishnu@l...> wrote: > vyam vedavyasaaya namah > > - ------------- > > Dear Harsha, > Mars with Rahu causes Vijaya Yoga, and causes some struggle, before Mars siezes the day, in the end of Rahu Dasa. > > It will start with some desire, to enhance your personal fortune, resulting in a change of job(Papargala of Rahu on 10th lord and 10th house, twice(obstruction by sun).
