Dear Friend Ajay, Saturn is a benefic for taurus ascendant by

virtue of its ownership of the 9th house which is the best trine and

the 10th house a kendra,these houses being represented by the signs

capricorn and aquarius which belong to saturn.Similarly Saturn is a

benefic for Libra ascendant by virtue of its ownership of the 4th

Kendra and the 5th trine.Thus you will see that saturn is a great

benefic for the ascendants ruled by venus,its great friend.Saturn is

a part benefic for capricorn and aquarius ascendants by virtue of its

Ownership of the ascendant.Saturn is also considered a part benefic

for the ascendants ruled by its other friend mercury,i.e. gemini and

virgo.In gemini ascendant,saturn rules the 9th house which is the

best trine,but is only a part benefic because its other ownership is

of the worst 8th house.Similarly for virgo ascendant,saturn rules the

5th house a trine and the 6th house a bad house nd therefore is a

part benefic only.For all other ascendants saturn is malefic on

account of its ownership of bad houses.As regards signs,the signs

libra,aquarius and capricorn are considered to be the best signs for

saturn to be placed in that order. The next best signs for saturn to

be placed are taurus,virgo and gemini,in that order.All other signs

are bad for saturn to occupy,the worst being aeries.With regard to

houses,the 3rd,6th and the 11th houses are considered to be the best
