Guest guest
Dear Ms.Nadia , Please find your attached chart. As per the given time details your lagana is Virgo so Jupiter is ruling your 4 and 7 house.Atma karka being Moon and Jupiter in 12th house from the same in Navamsha your Ista devata is ShivShambhu.Praying to Shiv Shambu as Jupiter is Bhadka and your Ista Devata I feel will benefit you more than wearing Topaz and won't cost you any money. I hope the above chart is correct and is of some help. Guest guest
Vyam VedaVyasaaya Namah Dear Nadia, The 12th from the Karakamsa determines the Istha Devata. 1) Of the 8 grahas from Sun-Rahu, the one with the highest longitude in its own sign becomes the Chara Atmakaraka. Count Rahu's degrees in reverse, i.e. deduct 30 degrees from its placement. 2) Find the Chara Atmakarakas Navamsa sign. This sign is called the Karakamsa! 3) See the 12th sign from this sign in Navamsa, and the planets joined/lording the sign will indicate the Istha Devata. Moon is your AK and is placed in Libra Navamsa. Virgo is the 12th therefrom and has Jupiter. Jupiter indicates your istha devata. People with Jupiter as Istha Devata see the supreme lord as their Istha, as Narayana. This needs adjusting in various religions. Your Mantra is "Om Tat Sat". Guest guest
Dear Jagmeet The attached Jhd file shows Time Zone - 2 hours west of GMT it should be 2 Hours East of GMT. Simlarly Correct Longitude for Beirut is 35E30. Although it has no effect on Ishta Devta Question. T P Singh
Guest guest
Omsri hanumate namah, Dear visti ji, As you are always bombarded ( pardon my language) with mails- I'm really very embarassed to be asking you something about ishta devata-I'm ashamed of myself as I've been studying for the last 6 months- though ina very haphazard manner-I still have to figure out who my ishta is-sun is my ak -is sitting with rahu in the 12th house in navamasa and in the 11th house I have jupiter in debl. with Venus.jupiter is ahead in degrees.I'm probably commting a mistake because this was discussed in another group and in the end i was more muddled than ever.Mars sits in the 7th and saturn , moon , ketu and mercury sit in the 6th house. Please help. I worship Ram and hanuman ji and I must confess that it has brought me immense peace of mind. Also my son has mercury (combust)as his Ak and its sitting in his navamasa with rahu in the 3rd house of libra.so his Ishta should be denoted by virgo if I'm right? Is it lord ganesh? Now if everone has a different ishta in the family - then what do we mean by kula devata?Pardon my ignorance-I'm a beginner and a very slow learner. jai sri ram, rambha.. - Visti Larsen vedic astrology Friday, July 26, 2002 4:53 PM Re: [vedic astrology] Ishta Deveta Vyam VedaVyasaaya Namah Dear Nadia, The 12th from the Karakamsa determines the Istha Devata. 1) Of the 8 grahas from Sun-Rahu, the one with the highest longitude in its own sign becomes the Chara Atmakaraka.
