Dear Visti

I was just going thru some astro-notes on Isht-devata as I wanted to

reconfirm for my family. And found in one of your mails (titled Isht

Devata, addressed to Shailesh, dt 27th April 2002)where u said, because

u have KAY, your karakamsa is the position of Ketu in navamsa.

I then looked at your chart, & your AK is Ra.

What is the general/ specific rule for all this: a) your case: if Ra=

AK and KAY, then Ke dominates Ra (is that the reason?)? b) What if Ke=

AK and KAY, then again Ke will dominate. c) If Ke= AK & KSY, then will

Ra's position in d-9 be considered?

And is all this for Karakamsa in general, or only for finding

Isht-Devata from such 12th to such modified Karakamsa in d-9?

I ask specifically, as my son & I both have Ra as AK and both have KAY,

just like you do. And we both have been chanting "Om Namo Narayanaya"

based on Saturn being lord of (empty) 12th from Ra in d-9. So all this

will change, for both of us. Please reconfirm & advise.

I'll take some more time to catch up with astrology again. But my

Isht-mantra has been regular in all this hiatus, & I need to resolve

this - I mean, after chanting for the last few months, & enjoying doing

so, it just seems a bit ....shall we say disconcerting to change it,

after getting used to it. So please do reply when you do get the time

Thanks

Nandan
