Guest guest
Hare Rama Krishna Jaya Jagannatha, Dear Karen,Gurus and Members, I did read Sanjayji's book COVA and arrived at the following result. If its not too much trouble could you kindly affirm if my analysis is ok. My DOB 03/23/68 TOB:8:18:30 Place :Coimbatore Event: Marriage :06/22/2000 Dasha : Rahu/Venus/Saturn My Lagnamsa for the above time falls in Scorpio Lagna, Rule I - The Vimsottari pratyantara dasa planet should be in trines to the 7th house, orits lord or Venus. 1) with Saturn(Atmakaraka) in the third in Capricorn, this is in a Trine from the seventh house i.e Taurus. Hence Saturn is the Antara Dasa Lord. Rule II - The Vimsottari dasa planet should associate with the navamsa lagna, or have argala on it or remove malefic argala from it. 2) Rahu the Vimsottari dasa lord is in the 4th in Aquarius and has argala (subha) on Navamsa lagna.Hence Rahu is the Mahadasa lord. Rule III - The Vimsottari antar dasa planet should associate with the seventh lord from navamsa lagna, or have argala on it or remove malefic argala on it. 3) The Pratayantara Dasa lord venus is the seventh lord and hence qualifies. Now my wife has Taurus lagna (Rasi chart) and the seventh to my Lagnamsa is Taurus. Now as far as my complexion goes I am light skinned for an Indian and infact have ruddy complexion. This could be explained by the aspect of Mars+Jupiter from Taurus on my Navamsa Lagna. My problem is that even for Sagittarius Lagna, two of the three rules apply.Rahu is in the third and has argala, venus is conjunct mercury the seventh lord. The prtyantara lord saturn of course is not in a trine to the seventh or its lord so he disqualifies. Now if we try Narayana Dasa with the ninth lord from the Rasi chart Mercury as the Seed. The Lagna would be Aquarius. The marriage occurs in Vir/Cap/Aqu.Vir is the second from AL in D-9 and has the AL Lord sun aspecting my UL in Gemini.I could not figure out the role of Cap or its Lord Saturn but Aquarius is the seventh from Al, 7th from A7 and also the 4th from Lagnamsa. Now for Sagitarius, Vir is in the 10th but has my UL lord Sun (TOB:8:18:32),Cap, Lord Saturn aspects the AL and A7 in Libra,Aquarius has the UL lord Mercury conjunct with the AL lord Venus. So the above is my confusion, since both Sagittrius and Scorpio can be justified how do I narrow it down especilaly when the time difference of only 2 seconds changes the Lagnamsa. I would deeply appreciate any critique of my attempt and also any further tips and insight from the Gurus, and learned Jyotishas. Guest guest
Vyam VedaVyasaaya Namah Dear Sudarsan, Graha Dristi doesn't affect ones complexion, only Rasi dristi can. The complexion indicated by Navamsa Lagna is the one inherited by ones parents, and hence ones dharma. Rasi Lagna could show ones own tendencies, i.e. Sun or Mars in Lagna could make one tan. Jupiter knows that the Sun is boiling hot, and only takes it in moderation. etc. Saturn gives Rasi Dristi on Scorpio which would make you black. If it was Sag Lagnamsa, then Moon would aspect making you fair, whilst sun would aspect giving a sunch of reddish complexion. Moon is stronger due to being in Jupiterian sign, hence Moon should determine your complexion. As for wifes lagna. This should be determined from Upapada. Does she have Sarpa yoga(3 malefics in kendra) in her chart? Or maybe Saturn/Rahu influencing lagna strongly? Her nature can be seen from Sapta-Lagnamsa. Gemini is there, and shows a childish nature, yet intellectual and well spoken. Suns dristi shows a book reader, whilst Moon gives a good singing voice. Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Visti, Thank you very much for the analysis. I do have a fair complexion and that narrows down the Lagnamsa to Sagittarius. With regard to your comments on my wife's Lagna, yes she does have saturn posited in the lagna. Sun is in the eleventh in Pisces with Budha and Moon. Mars and Venus are in the 12th in Aries. But mars is in 29Aries59. As far her nature goes she does have child like traits sometimes, she is an avid reader and contributes articles to leading newspapers on social taboos, vegetarianism and environmental awareness etc.She is an environmental researcher. But she certainly does not have a good singing voice, atleast I dont beleive she has that capacity though she loves music. Is the fact that my complexion being fair, alone pose a strong case to reject Scorpio as Lagnamsa? Also how did you discern that my wife's lagna had malefics or sarpa yoga? She has Rahu in Capricorn. Her star is Revathi. I am truly grateful for your time and answers. Since I am at a nascent stage there is a tremendous scope for a bias while analyzing my chart or correcting the same. But on the same count this also provides a perfect learning ground. Thank you once again in advance for your troubles. Guest guest
Vyam Vyasadevaya Namah ---------- Dear Mona, Sorry for the delay in my reply. I am new to rectifying so it takes me a while and I want to confirm it with the help of more learned members. To confirm the drekkana lagna as Taurus we can see details of your younger brother by treating the sign occupied by the third house lord (counted in reverse) as the lagna. Jupiter is in Aquarius with Rahu forming a Guru-Chandala yoga. This could indicate that the brother is not interested in astrology or religion. The third house from Aquarius has an exalted Sun, showing great courage and is with Mercury forming a Budha-Aditya yoga showing that the brother should be very intelligent. The 9th house, Libra, also the has Venus in his own showing great fortune after marriage. Libra also his Arudha lagna and can show success thru foreign exports. Can you confirm these details about your brother? Also can you tell me about your mother's health, if you having problems with some real estate/land and whether you are living abroad? Guest guest
Dear Karen, Thank you very much for taking up my case for such a detailed analysis. I am writing about my brother and mother here. My brother is intelligent. He is a Pharmacist by profession. He is always a lucky person. With little effort things do come to him. But these days he is slightly in to some trouble( financial obligation and associated tensions etc). He is not into astrology, but he is religious. Mother is in good health though , she has all kinds of allergy(very sensitive to climate, smell, chemicals etc), blood pressure, pain at joints etc. Myself, brother and mother are all living abroad. My father is still in India looking after the property(real estate). We were trying to sell of that land property. But we never been able to do that. That may be described as a problem. I thank you once again for taking your time for anlysis. If u need any more info please let me know. Guest guest
Dear Mona, After much consideration of your last reply and collaboration with other learned members (Visti and Ron) we are doubtful of the Capricorn lagna in rasi and will begin from square one again in hopes of fixing the correct lagna. The point that rules this horoscope out is that the 4th house(mother, house, property), Aries, is very afflicted and your mother is in good health. It contains a retrograde Saturn and it's lord, Mars is in the 8th house with 2 malefics and a retrograded mercury. The owner of this chart's mother would be short-lived or in poor health. We are now considering a Libra lagna as it is also aspected by Leo that contains the planets that match the description of your facial features. By any chance, do you have a digitized photo of yourself that we can look at to confirm your features. You can send it to me privately if you prefer. Best Wishes, Karen Dear Karen, Thank you very much for taking up my case for such a detailed analysis. I am writing about my brother and mother here.My brother is intelligent.
