His Istha Devata is indicated by Jupiter. Hence worshipping Nirguna Narayana

with the mantra; "Om Tat Sat" will bring him closer to the Istha.

 

Now for the reading:

Check Dasamsa, and you will see the change from service(biotech) to business.

This is indicated by Jupiter in the 7th, and no doubt this could easily have

occured during the recent Jupiter Dasa.

 

Note that Jupiter is Badhakesh and joined Rahu in the 2nd. Did someone steal

from him in Jupiter Dasa? If so please inform, so propper remedials for the

current dasa can be given.

 

 

There are some noteworthy things in this chart. Saturn and Mars join in the 3rd

house, causing a Vipareet Yoga. However Mars is strong in both Rasi and

Navamsa, hence this is NOT a Raja Yoga.

 

There is luckily no connection with Lagna or Arudha Lagna, so the native will

not suffer directly, but do predict great sorrow with regards to children, as

Saturn is 5th lord.

 

Saturns transit into the 10th isn't a fortunate incident, especially since it

Check Saturns placment in the 6th in Shasthamsa.. the problems are clear. Now

1] He is not a 'close friend'. But i am a partner in his business

venture, and have known him since last 1.5 years.

 

2] For your info. he is divorced, and yes , due to this he is not on

good terms with children as they are swayed by the mother's

influence, and is separated from children too..

 

3] The fact that his AL, GL are the same in Dhanu together with

ascendant lord Mercury and Atmakaraka Sun, and aspected by 11th lord

Moon from lagna, and all interaspect HL in pisces, show that he has

high chances of becoming prominent and successful in his BUSINESS. As

I am not really concerned about his personal life... only his life

with respect to business success.

 

4] For your info. he had a serious undiagnosable illness, fever,

weakness, and was hospitalised for 1 month and took about 6-7 months

to recover from November 1980.

 

5] YES, he did change from service to business during vimsotari JUP-

Rahu period in 1999. The SAT+MAR in 3rd gives him the boldness and

courage - and technical scientific inventive abilities to patent a

diagnostic product and launch it to international markets.

 

6] The only "stealing" due to Jupiter+Rahu (7th badhakesh lord

conjunct rahu) could be attributed perhaps to WIFE demanding high

compensation after separation/divorce.

 

7] In early 1999 he got share options from a multinational diagnostic

8] I beg to differ with respect to his Saturn... as SAt is 5th laxmi

lord in rashi; SAT is AMATYAKARAKA (significator for career); in

dasamsa SAT is involved in a parivartan yoga with Mars and also a

Neech Bhanga yoga, and SAt posited in 11th. In dasamsa Saturn is

aspected by strong Jupiter from 7th, and also has rashi drishti of

debilitated Moon and Strong Rahu.

 

Hence I predicted for him SUCCESS during Saturn period with respect

to business GAINS. And SATURN's transit through 10th house in Rashi,

together with Jupiters exalted transit through 11th house, will

activate his fortune and brighten his business prospects. ESPECIALLY

now that he is about 43 (i.e. older age), and hence Saturn more

likely to give his fruits at older age after native has 'leant' his

lessons in life and gone through obstacles and suffering. It is

always good to have Saturn dasha running at 'later' age, i think.

 

9] In conclusion, I have predicted for him that he will succeed with

his venture and profit during the SAT-SAT period. The business plan

is to sell off the company to a big biotech firm within 2-3 years -

that will be the exit route for the partners/investors. What happens

afterwards, we can only advise him not to think about taking on

BIGGER ventures as they might not prove fruitful.

Here's my take on the chart.

 

There is a Tapaswi Yoga formed in the Rasi as well as Dasamsa.Tapaswi

yoga(see Jaimini Sutras) is formed by association

of Saturn,Venus and Ketu(use Rasi aspects).In the Rasi this yoga is

formed with the Amatya Karka which is consistent

with the natives profession of being a scientist/researcher.Since the

focus of the yoga is the 3rd house, a martian

rasi and also includes mars it indicates a technical profession with

a mix of life sciences (aspect of Venus).

Interestingly Venus is the planet who has the secret of the Sanjivini

mantra which has the ability to give life to

the dead.Scorpio indicates chemicals/poisons and being the eighth

sign of the natuaral zodiac indicates research.Overall

this combination indicates a person who has the ability to do deep

research.In the Dasamsa this yoga is formed

around the Arudha lagna containing Ketu which means this person has a

reputation of an eccentric but

brilliant researcher.

 

 

Since the two worst malefics associate in the 3rd house or the house

of physical prowess,this person has immense

physical courage to face all odds.The interesting thing is that this

association of the 3rd,6th and 8th lord forms

Visti: Debilitated Saturn in Dasamsa is good for professional prosects no

doubt. You said Saturn was lord of the 5th. Your right, but its position with

should be seen from Suns strength.

Dear Bharminder,

Tapaswi Yoga need not be formed by Rasi Dristi alone.

The Yoga could be formed by Trinal presence, or even Graha Dristi. Gurudeva has

shown this before in the Chart of Sarada Ma.

Also remember that the Yoga should be transfered to the lagna of the person in some way.

The native has been in product development/research, and as well

sales/management in biotech. multinationals prior to have started his

own venture. His inventive ability has led him to develop and patent

some disgnostic products for use in blood-banks and hospital blood

screening laboratories.

 

You are correct that his dealing and marketing is mainly

with 'foreign' lands and people, i.e. though production is in

Scotland, the negotiations are with firms in USA, Germany, France,

Turkey, India, and Brazil.

 

Re: the 'govt. debt' could be the grants and small loan given by

Scottish technology development board to assist outfitting of

manufacturing facilities.

Dear Visti,

I am aware of the variations of Tapaswi Yoga as discussed

on this list and in COVA.Thanks for elaborating on some of the

variations.However since Tapaswi yoga is defined as a Jaimini sutra

and rasi aspects are considered while reading the sutras I used the

same while summarising the yoga in my analysis.
