dear Sanjay ji and list members

I have a doubt in divisional charts. You had said that the

debiliation of malefics is good in the rasi chart for wealth.

Now is this effective only when they are in kendras??

And can we apply the rules of debiliation etc in divisional charts

with confidence?

How different is rasi aspect from argala. Is rasi aspect the grace

due to our prarabdha karma and argala is like the foot of vamana on

bali chakravarthi??

partha

Dear Partha,

I will try to explain how i have used Argala so far.

I have a doubt in divisional charts. You had said that the debiliation of

malefics is good in the rasi chart for wealth.

Now is this effective only when they are in kendras??

Visti: You must reckon this from Arudha Lagna. Debilitated Malefics in the

2nd, 4th, 5th, 8th and 10th from Arudha Lagna give wealth. Debilitated Benefics

are good in the 3rd and 6th from AL.

This is opposite incase the malefic/benefics, aren't debilitated.

And can we apply the rules of debiliation etc in divisional charts with confidence?

Visti: Exaltation and Debilitations are two extremeties of a grahas

indications. In exaltation its the greatest enjoyment. In the other its the

worst placement. Both can give Srimantah Yoga. Take the Boxer Muhammed Ali, who

faught for a living. This shows the degradation of Mars, where fighting as an

entertainment becomes a livelyhood. Now if instead it was in exaltation, then

the person would protect many through violence, just like a soldier or

policeman. How different is rasi aspect from argala. Is rasi aspect the grace

due to our prarabdha karma and argala is like the foot of vamana on bali

chakravarthi??

Visti: Vamana never stepped on Bali, but Bali did indeed offer his head. Very

sincere of him, considering that he attempted to keep his vow after all that he

had lost, and hence just like Prahlada, he got the throne of Heaven, i.e.

became Indra.

Now Bali's conquering of the palace of Indra, came about due to Rahu's

Exaltation in Gemini. This was removed once Vamana(guru) entered into Pisces as

a Brahmana(Pisces) Dwarf, and had Rasi Dristi on Rahu, taking away ALL his

riches. Hence Rasi Dristi shows the foot of Vamana if any.

The forces that helped/obstructed Vamana in doing so, is seen from the Argala on

Guru. i.e. Bali(Rahu) actually offered Vamana(Guru) the lands in which he could

roam. This is seen from the Argala of Rahu on Guru.

Sukracharya(Venus) the guru(9th) of Bali(Rahu) tried to obstruct Vamana(Guru)

hence we can infer that Venus was in the 12th from Guru and 9th from Rahu.

This way we can see which grahas had a determining effect on the results and

which had a intervening effect on the results. Varuna helped capture Bali, and

being the god of water, Moon would have given auspicious argala on Jupiter,

etc.

Try reading Cova, and the examples given of its usage, will settle your mind,

even quicker than the examples i've given.

Best wishes, Visti.
