Guest guest
Hare Rama Krishna Jaya Jagannatha Dear Sanjay Rath Gurudeva, Please accept my humble pranaams.I read your description of AshtamaSani, and have two questions. I have had Ashtama Sani while seen from my Lagna Libra, while the transit in Taurus was the 12th from my Aruda Lagna and 5th from my Moon sign Capricorn. Surprisingly, the last 2.5 years have been very auspicious as I got married, changed jobs to a profession which i like (even though there was some pressure as a result), and we are also expecting our first born. More importantly my spritual life has vastly improved where we installed Sri Sri Jagannath Baladeva Subhadra Devi and Sri Sri Gaura Nitai at Home and started deity worship, regular chanting of Maha Manthra and also had association from only devotees. Now my questions are- 1)Could these highly auspicious events be because of Sanideva being my Atmakaraka. The auspiciousness I can say started in June 2000 though I did face a lot of mental tension on the professional front between Mar2000 and Jan 2001,the end result was a positive change. 2)Does my moon sign being Capricorn and Lagna Libra being Saturn's own and mithra house have played a role.Does it affect some people only from the Moon sign. Thanks in advance. Jaya Jagannatha Sudharsan vedic astrology, "Sanjay Rath" <srath@s...> wrote: > Om Gurave Namah > Dear Sunny, > > The eighth house transit of Saturn is called Ashtama Sani. Guest guest
Radhekrishna, Dear Sudarshan, I am also going through Sani dasa, since my Janma Rashi is Thula, and my Moon rashi is also Thula. Eventhough, Sani is my Aatmakaaraka, most of what Guru Sanjay told about Ashtama Shani has happened to me. I have been deprived of love from my near and dear ones. I am in USA, a strange and foriegn land without much beneficial career line. My spiritual life is in shambles, as I used to do Rudra japam and vedic studies when I was in India. Maybe because of a better aspect of Jupiter on me, I have thwarted many evil troubles nagging my body and my mind, and still get an occasional spiritual retreat. I have lost interest in almost everything, though the last month has seen a little rise of confidence in me. So, I donot know what to expect. Guest guest
Hare Rama Krishna Dear Easwar, I have come across events like Gurudev described in many texts, but in my case the last 2.5 years , though filled with mental worry on account of profession for the first 6 months, has been largely very auspicious.Thats the reason for my question.I would love to hear Gurudeva's comments. The period did start with tremendous pressure from superiors in march 2000(It started suddenly with my boss who days before that held me in good books) and then it bought me back into Krishna Conciuosness (after a lapse of nearly a year)obviously like the Supreme Lord says in the Bhagavad Gita that He is also sought by those in distress. But that rejuvenated my spiritual life by first giving me Sadhu Sangha, I used to spend time in the Bhaktivedanta Ashram in NYC after work. It then in the midst of a storm at work, gave me a trip to India, for vacation.I got married to a very pious girl and believe it or not , we went on a Parikrama of temples in southern India instead of a honeymoon. The pressure ended at work in Jan 2000 and it was very favorable. The Deities of Sri Jagannath, Baladeva,Subhadra and Sri Sri Gaura Nitai gave us their causeless mercy by coming home. That strenthgthened my devotional service and also provided Maha prasadam everyday as the Deities were offered Bhoga. And today I cannot imagine a life without Krishna Conciousness and by the grace of God it is strengthened every day. So I bow down to my Atmakaraka for steering me in the right direction. PLease chant the Maha Manthra with faith as the Lord says in the Gita, that He would never let His devotees perish. He says that "For MY devotees, I shall carry what they lack and preserve what they have". According to Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu,Krishna's most recent incarnation, the chanting of the Maha Manthra is the yuga dharma. The most merciful Lord has vested all His energies in His holy name. The holy Name is non -different from Him as He is absolute. There is no better Yagna in this Kali Yuga. Even with my very defective chanting,I lead a very peaceful life so what to say of those devotees who chant in a pure way.So please chant- Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. Guest guest
Om Namo Bhagavate Vaasudevaya Dear Sudarshana Yes. I fully agree. But I have a mission, an unfulfilled duty from another time, a promise (10th lord) from another life to one so pure and so devoted. It is Jagannath Who shall give me this opportunity and it is He who will also deliver. Maha Mantra is for big people..I am a little soul who is still stuck at the root of the Mahamantra..with the Janaka Shadakshari.."Hare Rama Krishna". I have faith that one day Rama will come like He came for Sri Janaka and my Karma will end like they did for Sudama. With best wishes Sanjay Rath http://sanjayrath.tripod.com <http://sanjayrath.tripod.com> sudhar_srinivasan [sudhar108] Friday, July 05, 2002 11:00 PM vedic astrology [vedic astrology] Re: ashtamasani-Dear Gurudeva Hare Rama Krishna Dear Easwar, I have come across events like Gurudev described in many texts, but in my case the last 2.5 years , though filled with mental worry on account of profession for the first 6 months, has been largely very auspicious.Thats the reason for my question.I would love to hear Gurudeva's comments.
