Guest guest
Hare Rama Krishna Dear Visti Guru, Thank you very much for your kind and generous assistance.Interestingly, my Navamsa is alright per the folllowing observations, please correct me if Iam wrong, 1)The seventh from Lagnamsa should describe the spouse, my Lagnamsa falls in Scorpio and the 7th from it is my wife's D-1 Lagna, Taurus. 2)The fifth from the Lagnamsa, should indicate the manthra siddhi, and Pisces indicates the Maha Manthra. 3)The above fact is again confirmed by the presence of Jupiter and mars in Taurus, fifth from my Karakamsa Capricorn, where Saturn my AK is posited.Taurus being the Moon sign of the Supreme Lord Krishna and Jupiter the 12th Lord from Karakamsa signifies Maha Manthra. The presence of Mars with Jupiter shows my Ista,Bhagavan Krishna and Narasimhadev. Now on a side note I have a question on the fact of Renunciation. 1)Does Jupiter Retrograde in the third from AL in my Rasi also signify renunciation. 2)What is the effect of Retrograde Jupiter in the eighth from my Moon in Capricorn.Does Retrogression reverse the effects of Sakata Yoga and Asura Yoga? Guest guest
Dear Sudharsan, A few more pointers to help in rectification: (1) D-20 itself is based on a seed of 8. The 8th house is a moksha trikona. It shows tapasya and siddhi. Don't apply thumbrules to rule out Cn lagna in your D-20. (2) Judge your favorite deity w.r.t. your D-20. The strongest influences on the 5th in D-20 show your favorite deities. If your D- 20 lagna were Cn, Venus in 5th (Sc) aspected by nodes would show your favorite deity. It would be a rajasik/tamasik form of Durga. OTOH, if your D-20 lagna were Le, the 5th would be Sg. It is empty and strongly aspected by Saturn and exalted Mercury in Virgo. These being the strongest influence, the deity undoubtedly would be a form of Vishnu (both Saturn and Mercury show Vishnu). Martian aspect on them and on Sg would explain Narasimha too. (3) In the same vein, check other deities shown by D-20. Let us say your D-20 lagna is Le. The 2nd is Vi, containing exalted Mercury and Saturn. So your Kula Devata (family deity) is probably a form of Vishnu. OTOH, if your D-20 lagna were Cn, your family deity would be shown by Moon in Leo (aspected by nodes) - most likely a saattwik form of Durga. That would perhaps show goddess Lalita or Rajarajeswari. Similarly, take the indfluences on the 4th house to see your Grama Devata (village deity). With Le lagna, Venus in Sc aspected by nodes would be in the 4th and show a tamasik form of Durga. (4) Now, let us go to D-10 for career. When analyzing the formal career, give priority to AL (arudha lagna). THAT would show how your self would rise/manifest in the world, in terms of activities in society. With Sc lagna, AL would be in Le. The 10th from there contains Saturn and Mars. It does not explain a career as a stock analyst. Saturn and Taurus (despite Martian presence) show something well-defined, fixed, rigid and routine. OTOH, if your D-10 lagna were Sg, then AL would be in Pi. From it, 10th is in Sg. That shows your work. Sg is fiery and dual (unlike Ta which is earthy and fixed). It is aspected by intellectual planets Mercury and Jupiter (as opposed to routine execution planets - Saturn and Mars). Mercury shows trading, logic and analysis. Jupiter shows judgment, wisdom and counselling. Especially being in Mercury's Virgo (and aspected by Mercury), wise teacher Jupiter is more into earthy analysis. (5) Based on the above factors, probably you can conclude that your lagna is above 6 deg. Now, D-24 lagna will change from Sg to Cp at 6 deg 15 min. Now go to D-24 to rectify further! You can use dasas too. For example, find D-10 Narayana dasa and D-24 Narayana dasa and try to explain events. May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha > Hare Rama Krishna > > Dear Visti Guru, > > Thank you very much for your kind and generous > assistance.Interestingly, my Navamsa is alright per the folllowing > observations, please correct me if Iam wrong, > > 1)The seventh from Lagnamsa should describe the spouse, my Lagnamsa > falls in Scorpio and the 7th from it is my wife's D-1 Lagna, Taurus. > > 2)The fifth from the Lagnamsa, should indicate the manthra siddhi, > and Pisces indicates the Maha Manthra. > > 3)The above fact is again confirmed by the presence of Jupiter and > mars in Taurus, fifth from my Karakamsa Capricorn, where Saturn my AK > is posited.Taurus being the Moon sign of the Supreme Lord Krishna and > Jupiter the 12th Lord from Karakamsa signifies Maha Manthra. The > presence of Mars with Jupiter shows my Ista,Bhagavan Krishna and > Narasimhadev. > > Now on a side note I have a question on the fact of Renunciation. > > 1)Does Jupiter Retrograde in the third from AL in my Rasi also > signify renunciation. > > 2)What is the effect of Retrograde Jupiter in the eighth from my Moon > in Capricorn.Does Retrogression reverse the effects of Sakata Yoga > and Asura Yoga? > > > Thank you once again for your time and kindness > > > Jaya Jagannatha > > > Sudharsan
Guest guest
Hare Rama Krishna Dear Narasimha Guru Please accept my heartfelt thanks for taking the time to write a detailed analysis. Yes, your points are confirmed as- 1)My favorite deity is Shri Krishna, and Iam attached to Shri Hayagreeva, and Lord Narasimha. All Vishnu Tattva Deities. 2)Our Family Deity is Lord Venkateshwara though from the Uppoiliappan Temple near Kumbakonam. So we propitiate either Shri Balaji from Tirumala or Shri Venkateshwara from Kumbakonam. 3)I have always had mercurial occupations,I worked for a life insurer for 5 years before grad school.I sold Life/Health insurance. BTW, I visited Astroexpert.com and they have a system based on Nadi Jyotisha and that gave my correct time as 20:19:29. The Lagna falls in 6Lib53.They divide time into male and female zones and make corrections. That was very intriguing. Regarding Narayana Dasas, I have a doubt.According to the rules for choosing an appropriate Lagna in D-10, you had mentioned in your book that the placement of the 10th Lord of the Rasi Chart should be considered as the lagna in D-10.In that case how would it help in fixing the D-10 lagna.Unless I find the Phalita from Narayana Dasa and then analyze the appropriatness of the lagna in giving such results(Iam speculating here-apologies if it sounds foolish). Thank you once again for your deep analysis and time. Guest guest
Dear Sudharsan, > Regarding Narayana Dasas, I have a doubt.According to the rules for > choosing an appropriate Lagna in D-10, you had mentioned in your book > that the placement of the 10th Lord of the Rasi Chart should be > considered as the lagna in D-10.In that case how would it help in > fixing the D-10 lagna.Unless I find the Phalita from Narayana Dasa > and then analyze the appropriatness of the lagna in giving such > results(Iam speculating here-apologies if it sounds foolish). What I wrote in my book was only for the seed to be used in dasa computation. The lagna found using the 10th lord of rasi chart is only used as the seed in computing D-10 Narayana dasa. However, when this dasa is interpreted, you do have to consider the normal lagna, arudha lagna etc of the D-10 chart. You can see it if you read the examples given in my book or Sanjay ji's book. In your case, for example, Libra's D-10 Narayana dasa is running now. This would be the case irrespective of what the lagna in D-10 is. However, the results of this Libra will vary based on D-10 lagna. If your D-10 lagna is Li, Li dasa will give a new beginning and good developments in career (1st from lagna and 10th from AL). If your D- 10 lagna is Sc, Li dasa will give rise in formal career (3rd from AL), but confusion and loss of focus in activities (12th from lagna, with lord in badhaka sthana with Rahu). If your D-10 lagna is Sg, Li dasa will give setbacks in formal career (8th from AL) and worries related to gains (11th from lagna, with lord in 8th with Rahu). This is the kind of analysis you do to fit past events with dasas and antardasas of D-10/D-24 Narayana dasa to rectify the birthtime. BTW, though there are auto-rectification models that do not need any life events and are based just on models that divide time into various quanta in which human birth or male birth or female birth can/cannot happen, they are often unreliable. I would not go by them. May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha
Guest guest
Vyam Vysadevaya Namah ------------- Dear Sudarshan, Narasimha has helped you with the rectification, i will answer these points bellow. 1)The seventh from Lagnamsa should describe the spouse, my Lagnamsa falls in Scorpio and the 7th from it is my wife's D-1 Lagna, Taurus. Visti: The Lagna of the wife is seen from the Upapada, its trines/7th or its lord in the Rasi Chart. I have explained the procedure in the past. 7th in Navamsa, will show the nature of your wife, as well as some characteristics of hers. Taurus shows a stubborn spouse, with very down-to earth traits. 2)The fifth from the Lagnamsa, should indicate the manthra siddhi, and Pisces indicates the Maha Manthra. Visti: I feel there should be more to this. I have Sag as the 5th house, and Jupiter in trines to Karakamsa. Visti: it can yes. The mind must also wanto renounce, hence Moon is necessary. Lagna is also important, check for Pravrayja Yogas. 2)What is the effect of Retrograde Jupiter in the eighth from my Moon in Capricorn.Does Retrogression reverse the effects of Sakata Yoga and Asura Yoga? Visti: If you had Asura Yoga then you would definitely know. Retrogades tend to reverse the effects of its placement, but there may still be Sakata yoga. Best wishes, Visti. Guest guest
Vyam Vysadevaya Namah ----------------- Dear Sudarshan, There are various Pravrayja Yoga for Moon. Basically Moon or its dispositor, should associate with a rasi, Navamsa or drekkana of Saturn or Mars. Pravrayja Yogas from Lagna, should be reckoned by checking the Lagna lord and its dispositor and see which yogas it involves in. Similarly also check for yogas in Navamsa.
