Some more rules for cancellation of Debilitation.

 

1, When the lord of the sign where planet is in is in kedra from Lagna /

Moon

2. When lord of the sign where planet exalts is in kendra from Lagna/Moon

3. When planet who exalts in the sign where the debilitated planet is

posited is in Kendra from Lagna/Moon

Dear Rama Priya,

 

A deb planet does get cancellation because he is in a quadrant but i have

read this is the least efective. ... But the following also could bring

about cancellation.

 

1. If the deb planet is exalted in navamsa, or is in his own navamsa

2. If the Deb planet is joined by an exalted one.

3. If the deb planet and it;s lord are in parivarthana

4. lord of the house where the deb planet is, aspects the deb planet. I

guess this should be rasi aspect only.

5. if the deb planet is retograde.

 

Learned members and guru's may please correct me.

Hi Krithi,

 

I feel the second case is better, actually. There's a school of

thought that believes that a debilitated planet loses its

debilitation when it is either in lagna or at a quadrant from the

moon in D-1. Also check the planet's dignity in D-9. If Jup is in a

quadrant from the moon there too, cool.

 

The first case mentioned by Ram (another) is more interesting because

Jup in 3H ain't great; it's in its marana sthana. But for Capris,

that 3rd house happens to be his own house. Wonder how the

interpretation of a Jup-moon combine in Sagittarius for a Taurus asc

would be - marana sthana and exaltation house too!
