For the KSY what is the remedy for me? Would reciting the

Kalpraviksha Mantra recommended by you below(Ista Devata Mantra)

Would Sukla/Krishna Paksha Ashtami be auspicious for Durga Mata?

 

Since age of 9-10 I have been reciting the Gayatri Mantra. Can I

recite the Kalpraviksha Mantra with the Gayatri Mantra?

Dear Aswhin,

The remedy for Kala Sarpa Yoga is to worship Durga Mata, in her form as Chandi.

We are fulfilling this by worshipping Durga with the Kalpraviksha Mantra.

 

As for Tithi. No doubt Astami Tithi is ruled by Rahu, but acording to VRA says

that Sukla Pratipad-Navami is the best time, and represents the Navaratri. I'm

not an expert on this..yet.

 

Either way this should be done during Kali Muhurta which is at night.

 

Yes you can keep doing the Gayatri in the mornings.
