Astrological readings

I notice that a lot of members on this group (new members in particular)

use this forum to get a free reading of their charts. Some even appear very

demanding, if no notice is taken of their queries. First of all, doing an

astrological reading is a very exhausting process, mentally as well as psychically,

and astrologers burn out very quickly. It is like drinking the astrologer's

blood. There are many astrologers in this group who are selfless enough

to do a reading for the good of the group. For others, these personal questions

"When will I get married?,When will I get a job?" smack of self-absorption.

They are valid questions but they are by no means technical difficulties

and the querant should be prepared to pay or (at least pay in kind) the astrologer

for his experience, learning and the effort he has put forth on his behalf.

Sometimes one can take exception to some of the advice that is dished out,

but then again, if you ask for free advice, as someone pointed out, let the

buyer beware. I am appalled that

one of Sanjay Rath's ex-student's has alleged that Rath cheated him and that

Jyotish is a big fraud. Talk of biting the hand that feeds you!
