Guest guest
Dear members, Zai Ganesh. I have noticed these type of queries on the increase, fully concur with aphoton and discourage visitors using the platform for their personal ends. In my view, one way to get out of this predicament is for the administrator to on-forward such queries to a professional astrologer (Cc to the originator) who might provide a response at a fee. Ignoring is better than responding abusive inquirers in my view. Good Luck with this niggling issue. Guest guest
let us look at this from another view point. when a chart is dicussed in the list-lot of things are learnt. the more charts are discussed, more are learnt. so in my openion-people should be encouraged to ask for such list readings - so that we can learn more. yes - being demading of course is not desirable on the part of querist. regards to all dasgupta - Sarma Karra vedic astrology Friday, May 31, 2002 12:10 PM Re: [vedic astrology] Astrological readings Dear members,Zai Ganesh. Guest guest
Namaste list I would certainly concur with Dasguptaji that chart readings open up alot of learning from all concerned either active/non active members and hence should be encouraged as opposed from discouraged. At the end of the day it depends very much on any individual to respond to such requests as he/she feels fit without any obligations and that it shouldn't be a policy to 'bar' such requests. Unless charts are looked at how would one expect to learn anything in isolation? Again please note that these are my thoughts - take them for what they are worth ........ Best wishes ...... Guest guest
Dear aphoton, Your observations are worthy. But there can be an individual with a genuine problem and is seeking an astrological remedy. As an astrologer won't u be happy to help those individuals. Astrologers can ignore few time passing members. Even if any member still demands for a reading without following the norms of this group, he/she can be removed from the list by our moderator. regards V Satish Quoting aphoton <aphoton: > I notice that a lot of members on this group (new members in particular) > > use this forum to get a free reading of their charts. Guest guest
Dear All, I agree whole-heartedly. To confess, that is how I joined this group - first Nimmi, and then Narsimha Guru were kind enough to respond to my queries. Later on I became more involved in learning the subject for my self. There may be many others like me. Best wishes, Shailesh - V Satish vedic astrology Friday, May 31, 2002 9:56 PM Re: [vedic astrology] Astrological readings Dear aphoton,Your observations are worthy. Guest guest
I concur. what better way of learning than examining the chart of a person I know best (maybe, maybe not!), ie me. I am not able to study jyotish on a regular basis due to time problems but I appreciate being able to go through the archives when I can and read comments given my the gurus about my own chart as well as others'. Especially, reading comments about my own chart helps me a lot because I can tell whether what they are saying has happened or is true. The gurus, depending on their time constraints, can always tell us to wait a bit or to go away and leave them alone! Visti certainly does so and I have learnt not to mind. It IS an exhaustive task to examine a chart and give answers that satisfy as well as educate the willing. thanks, rain. vedic astrology, "Shailesh" <scchadha@h...> wrote: > Dear All, > > I agree whole-heartedly. > > To confess, that is how I joined this group - first Nimmi, and then Narsimha Guru were kind enough to respond to my queries. > > Later on I became more involved in learning the subject for my self. > > There may be many others like me. > > Best wishes, > > Shailesh > > > - > V Satish > vedic astrology > Friday, May 31, 2002 9:56 PM > Re: [vedic astrology] Astrological readings > > > Dear aphoton, > > Your observations are worthy.
