Guest guest
OM KLEEM KRISHNAYA NAMAHA Dear Anilji, I am also not that expert in Sanskrit. The translations are given in Kabyadi Srinivasa Acharya's book. Now if any scholars are there in the lst they can explain you about the meaning of the last line. But as you gave the meanings ,I also agree with you.But I can consult with a Scholar in this Prashna Margam but I may get the reply after 2-3 months as he does not have any e mail ID and I have to write letter to him and get the answer. Thanking you, With regards, Ramadas Rao. - aokedia vedic astrology Sunday, May 19, 2002 12:43 PM [vedic astrology] Re:prashn-marg Dear Ramdas Raoji and friendsRam Krishn HareThanks for your reply.I was looking for the translation of last line in the stanza which is missing in your book too.CHETOO VAAKKARMAJANTUDWIVIDHAMAPI VIDHOSTATRA HORADIVARGETISHTHAN KHETAH PRADADDHYADRIDHPHALAMADRIDHAM BHASWATO GOCHARASTHEKHETE PUNYASYA PAKAH PUNARITARGATE KARMANONYASYA VEDHASCHITTADHYETATTRIKE YADVIBALKHARAYUTAM TENA DOSHAANUBHUTIHI **Prashna-Marg ch.14-103.I feel TATTRIKE applies to 6/8/12 from 2/5/10 and khar is lord of 22ndDreshkana from birth lagna similarly word GOCHARASTHE means in transit.I think there is hint for fructification/Timing of bad results in last line. There is no referance to all these in your and Dr. Raman's translation. If you know Sanskrit please try to look in.I request experts in Sanskrit to kindly clarify correct meaning of above stanza.Rao:I dont have Dr.B.V.Raman's Prashna Margam but I have Prashna Margam translated by Sri Kabyadi Srinivasa Acharya of Udipi (near Mangalore ).The stanza 103 of Prashna Margam as you know says : CHETOO VAAKKARMAJANTUDWIVIDHAMAPI...............KHARAYUTAM TENA DOSHAANUBHUTIHI. This is continuation of stanzas 101 & 102 dealing about Sukrita and Dushkrita. The translation says : As mentioned in the previous stanza the planet which shows the possibility of Dushkrita if in the Hora and other vargas (Divisions )of Chandra, then the Dushkrita is due to a definite karma (Dhrida Karmooparjita )In that malefic house the planet representing Dushkrita who is a powerful malefic if in the divisions of Surya ,then the the Dushkrita is due to indefinite Karma ( Adhrida Karmooparjita )If the planet is in good house then the results are due to good deeds (Sukrita Phalaanubhava ),if in a malefic house then then the results are due to bad deeds (Dushkrita Karmaanubhava ).Anil:No Problem so far.Rao:For natural benefics their placement in kendra and trikona considered as good. For natural malefics their placement in 6,8 and 12 considered good.Anil:Is it your addition or part of translation? It is not in Raman's book.Rao:In the 5th house if a weak malefic is placed then consider the bad deeds are due to bad mind (Manasa),if in 2nd house then due to bad talks (Vaachika ) and if in 10th house then due to bad karma (Kaayika ). Like this the interpretation for definite (Dhrida ),indefinite (Adhrida ),karma/work (Kaayika ), talks (Vaachika ) and Mind (Manasika ) are produced here. Anil: You have mentioned weak malefic but Dr. Raman has said only malefic.Om Tat SatAnilkumar KediaArchives: vedic astrologyGroup info: vedic astrology/info.htmlTo UNSUBSCRIBE: Blank mail to vedic astrology-.......
