Guest guest
Hi, Here are some quick miscellaneous replies. (1) JHL 4.0 and 4.1: For the nth time, let me clarify - these versions are not available to the public yet. Trial versions of a newer JHLite were offered to SJVC students on the condition that they would not share it with anyone, but some people broke the condition. Disappointed, I withdrew the offer and they are not available anywhere for downloading at this time. Even if you are an SJVC student, I cannot give you JHLite 4.0 or 4.1. So please stop asking about this. (2) When finding arudhas of houses falling in signs with two lords (Aq and Sc), we should take the stronger lord to the best of my knowledge. However, Sanjay told me once that both the arudhas (found using the two lords) can give their results and there can be mixed results. There can be a dual image too. Sometimes, stronger arudha can dominate even if it is given by the weaker planet. However, the default procedure is to use the stronger lord. But keep your minds flexible. (3) Dear Fayyaz, http://www.sjvcusa.org works to my knowledge. My own website is http://www.VedicAstrologer.org. (4) Regarding the length of the year used in nakshatra dasas, I don't think there is a definitive answer. Different people have different preferences. For the record again, Pt. Sanjay Rath uses solar years and I use 360-tithi years advocated by Bhishma, Dharmaraja and Arjuna in Mahabharata (whereas Duryodhana advocated solar years). (5) Dear Claudio, where did Parasara recommend Savana years? He never mentioned which year should be used. (6) Dear Saunaka Rishi Das, your friend's son's chart is very nice. Only Jupiter occupies/aspects the 3rd and 6th from AL. This is Sadhu yoga and he will be saintly and soft-natured. Due to Raja yogas in Dharma sthana (Ta), Chamara yoga and Kalpadruma yoga, he will be successful and reputed and be a super-achiever. If the 10th lord is in a kendra or kona with 4 other planets, it gives Parivraja yoga and makes him an ascetic. From AK, Venus occupies 9th in navamsa. So Venus (Lakshmi) is Dharma Devata. If the kid is taught the worship of Lakshmi, it will always save him. During lagna lord Mercury's Moola dasa (2031-2044), he will rise to great hights. I think your friend has been blessed. May God be with him and his family! May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha
