You are saying that the boy and the girl in question have been having an

affair for 4 to 5 years. According to vedic standards, then they are

already married! That is called gandharva marriage or love marriage and

in case of such unions standard matching is not applied.

 

See Prashna Marga, stanzas 54 and 55, chapter on marriage compatibility:

 

"If the couple love each other, they can enter into wedlock, even if

there is no agreement in other ways. This is very important in thematter

of marriage. One who loves a girl sincerely from his heart should marry

her. Pure love is greater than any other virtue."

 

Similar statements are found in Jataka desha marga and B.V. Ramans

Muhurta booklet. Besides, Upapada matching is also good for this boy and

this girl and since they are obviously loving each other sincerely, they

should get married.

PS: Moon matching (kootas) is not the most important consideration. I

have seen terrible matches which scored enough points, that is more than

18 and I have seen longlived marriages inspite of low kootas.

Mr. Gopal,

 

I have gone thru the horoscope of the two concerned

individuals. I havent done any quantitative analysis,

but qualitatively the two horoscoped do not match. In

the boys horoscope the seventh lord from moon is

retrograde in the 12th. I have seen that retrograde

7th lord creates havoc. the boys horoscope is shudh

hwereas the girl's horoscope isnt so. moreover in the

girls horoscope the 7th lord is in the 6th house

having no benefic aspect.

preventing them from marriage would be difficult as

the boys is going to run sun dasha and sun is placed

in 2nd house. the girl is currently running mercury

dasha, the lord of the 7th house.

if married, marriage might not last for more than 3

years.

the placement of their respective moons in 6-8

position is bad but not so very. My wife and I have

the 6-8 placement of moon but we go along very well.
