I'm involved with vedic astrology for the past 7-8 years and tried to learn this amazing science by self-study and practice..I want a help regarding my own chart. My birth details are : Date : 25-April-1975 Time : 9:20 AM Place : 76E49 16N58 I want the help regarding the determination of ascendent. My ascendent comes out to be 1 Ge 22. But I've been getting very consistent results of being a Taurus ascendent. As per the Bhava- chalit chart, most of the things fit perfectly. But many experienced astrologers have pointed out that the whole signs behave as houses and bhava-chalit doesn't have much practical importance. Is it really true ? So, can anyone please have a look at my chart and explain me the exact process of determining the ascendent. I'll be really very grateful as I'm very much confused now !
