Dear Dilip Banerjee,

I was told that "Surya Kalanala Chakra" described in "Jatakabharanam"

is useful in choosing auspicious times for financial

dealings. "Sarvatobhadra Chakra" is also supposed to be a key thing.

I only know bits and pieces of this and haven't mastered it yet. When

(and if) I do, I will certainly share it with all of you.

Happy New Year to those of you who celebrate it today!

May Jupiter's light shine on us,

Narasimha

HARE RAMA KRISHNA

--------------------

Dear Learned Gurus and Members,

One of my friends frequently goes to the stock market, purchases and sales

shares. Recently, he is losing his money in stock market. One day, he asked me

about the best day for purchasing shares. Having no idea about it , I started

going through different books. After a few days of search I found some material

in a voluminous book written in Bengali Language about a hundred years ago. The

title of the book is " Hora Bijnan Rahashyam ba Jyotish Kalpabriksha" . It was

written by Narayan Chandra Jyotirbhusan , and according to Sri K N Rao( who can

read , write and speak in bengali) it is perhaps the best book on Parashari

System of Jyotish in any regional languages of India.

In that book , the steps given that should be followed for finding out the best

time for doing something which can bring prosperity, are as follows:

1. Find out in which rasis of the Jataka , the points of Sarvastakavarga(SAV)

is more than 30, preferebly 35. When moon transits these rasis, this is the

best period for purchasing stocks. This singly is the most important factor.

2.For purchasing something for business, the following nakshtras are considered to be good-

Revati

Aswini

Chitra

Shatabhisha

Sravana

Swati

3. In rasi chart, the nakshatras to be avoided for purchasing shares are-

a)The nakshatra , where sun is situated.

b)The nakshatra immediately before and after the sun.

4.Kumbha lagna should be avoided. All other lagnas are considered to be good for

business if 2nd, 5th, 9th, 4th, 7th, 10th, houses are occupied by benefics and

3rd, 6th, and 11th houses are occupied by malefic planets.

So, these are the steps to find out the best times for purching shares. Even,

this is the time for sending application for service or competitive

examination, purchasing some articles for business. This also is the best time

to meet some important person, if the intension of meeting the person is to

gain something from him - knowledge, power or even money.

Mesha, Tula, vrishchik, Dhanu, and Makar are the rasis having 30 or more benific

points in SAV.Aswini is upto 13deg20min of Mesha, part of Chitra and full of

Swati is upto 20deg of Tula,

and Sravana is from 10deg 0f Makar to 23deg20min of makar. Sun is at

uttarbhadrapad, the nakshatra immediately before and after are Purvabhadrapad

and Revati. So, these nakshatras are to be avoided . But the only plantet that

is our concern here is Revati, but as the rasi containing revati is not having

SAV more than 30, we'll ignore this point in this native. When Moon transits

those parts of the rasis , these are the good days for his stock

purchasing. Now, to fine tune it , 4th point should be considered.

Other points, like dhana yoga , arista yoga etc, have not been discussed.
