sorry for the interruption.i would like to give small clarification

w.r.t ur question -sun doesnt signify shiva. he is one of the

incarnations of lord narayana and he is called as SURYA NARAYANA.so

the suitable stotra for sun is either ADITYA HURADAYA or chanting of

NARAYANA MANTRA(hope u know it.i cant give it as i am not initiated to

chant that mantra)

hope visti will also agree with me

astrologers) of Sri PVR Narasimha Rao. So, there is no question of intrussion,

rather, everyone should feel free to join in any discussion.

 

About the signification of Sun, what you have written is correct.As Sarvam

vishnumayam Jagat , Sun is also a part of LORD NARAYANA. But, here I have

followed Gurudev Pt. Sanjay Rath. In Panditji's book 'Vedic remedies in

astrology' there is a chapter -Astrology and Deity. There on page 46(and also

in page 47) you will find the significance of Sun as Lord Shiva.
