Guest guest
Hi Aravinda, Planets have various "avasthas" that reflect the state they are in. Of these, there is a group of avasthas (states) related to activity. They are called "Sayanaadi Avasthas". Prakasana avastha is one of them. It literally means "glowing". A planet in this state is akin to a person who bright and glowing with excitement and happiness. It's one of the best states for a planet to be in. For more details on how to compute and judge these avasthas, please read a translation of BPHS. You can also refer to my textbook "Vedic Astrology: An Integrated Approach". Some pointers to where this book can be bought from can be seen on my homepage: http://www.VedicAstrologer.org. May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha > Dear astrologers................Can anyone explain me what the > term "Prakasana Avastha" means?
